Very nice hotel looks very fancy , it is fairly new hotel, the furniture looks like from RH I loved my stay the staff were amazing very friendly and the area around the hotel is really nice very close to a lot of landmarks
The property was lovely and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable with a large, beautiful bathroom. The breakfast and spa were also great.
The hotel is just beautiful. Every single detail was thought about from the fireplace, decor and the iPads in each room that control everything. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with a gorgeous bathroom and could not have been happier. It is a 10-15 minute walk from the center and we loved the location.
The Hotel Maria was amazing. The room was more than we could have asked for. The in-room sauna was well worth it. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions and help with nay requests we had. If you are travelling to Helsinki, look no further...this is the ideal place to stay.
Beautiful hotel, excellent service, fantastic spa. The staff could not have been nicer. The rooms were luxurious - my new favorite hotel in Helsinki. Thank you!
This was one of the most memorable hotel stays we have ever had. The junior spa suite with our personal sauna was height of relaxation. The staff and breakfast were simply incredible. Highly recommended.
Service was fantastic. But everything was a bit complicated, the room was located in another building abc you had to walk through this cellar corridor to the other building. Spa was full even though the hotel was like half full, I guess that people come from the outside.
What can i say about this amazing and wonderful hotel? We found out when we arrived that we were the VERY first booking for this newly open hotel! They treated us like royalty! Highly recommended to all !
Kiitos,
Ed Laakso
Lovey refurbishment and wonderful staff. So helpful and friendly. Super comfortable bed. Just thought that having the bathroom heating on was unnecessary. Highly recommended
A world-class hotel with stunning unique rooms, excellent service and a wonderful spa area. Will definitely stay here again next time I go to work in Helsinki.
What did come to mind was that the room key didn’t work for certain locked corridors and the stairwell that led to the hotel room, which meant that you had to take detours to the hotel room, sometimes outside, which was a bit frustrating as I had quite a few bags.
Hotel is top notch, the smart system is amazing to control the room amenities, the staff were so friendly and helpful, Linda in particular was restless in making our stay memorable in Helsinki, the only things I would complain about are limited choices of in room dining and the Resturant, breakfast buffet verity and the spa limitation e.g. booking for specific time because it doesn’t fit large number of guests , and the fact that it’s additional price for the stay, although I understand the reason behind the extra price it’s best to enlarge the spa so that everyone can enjoy whenever they want, other than that hotel is 5 star + , thanks for having us
The stay was ok for us. The hotel and rooms were beautiful and spa (and service there) was super nice. However, it would've been nice to know before the stay that spa will always need to be booked and nost times were gone once we arrived. The breakfast was a mess. The space for buffet was too small and crowded and we came at 10 and still most thing were already gone. The service quality was also off because we ordered coffee once we arrived but had to wai 30min for black coffee. Same thing happened with the egg order and we never even saw the a la carte menu for breakfast
Hotel Maria was amazing. The beds were perfect and it was dead silent at night, so we slept perfectly after a red eye flight. The service was fantastic. Love how you can control everything from a tablet they provide. The minibar was also great and not insanely priced (all alcohol in Finland is expensive). The restaurant was excellent. And the cocktails we had at the bar were amazing. Maybe the best Old Fashioned I've ever had.
The gym was great. Had it to myself 2 days in a row.
We had 2 tiny issues. Our shower drain was clogged when we arrived. They fixed it right away while we had dinner.
We were told breakfast ends at 11. We missed the first breakfast because we were so jet lagged. The next day (Monday) we went down at 10:05 and were told breakfast ended at 10. For some reason breakfast ends early on weekdays. I don't understand since people on vacation probably aren't paying attention to the day of the week. At least I don't.
