We even went for a swim! Perfectly clean and in good condition, and was near enough to go to Metropolis and Paducah for entertainment. There's a dollar store in Brookport for all of the items one inevitably forgets to pack. XD”

“Quaint red home near horse farm is exactly as the description in the post describes the property in an excellent manner. My children enjoyed having separate rooms and we were able to cook a full dinner and breakfast both days. If we ever go back we will surely keep this rental in mind.”

“The place is OK but I think that they can do a better job on take care of it and clean and keep it more clean. Also, there’s some things like you know that they can do better on the quality the kitchen too they keep it more clean I think that’s gonna help them.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the house on Hohman lake. The house was clean and well maintained. The owners are great to work with and very responsive! The hot tub developed a leak and they were there promptly to check it out and had fixed it quickly! We were there during the eclipse and they even provided eclipse glasses. The lake is a nice lake to kayak on. This was our second stay at one of their properties on the lake and look forward to coming back again!”

“We chose this cabin for a weekend getaway to relax and enjoy the outdoors. This cabin was exactly what we needed. We loved the cute, little cabin and all the amenities. The view is breathetaking. My daughter spent hours fishing the lake and caught multiple bluegill and fish. We appreciated the board games, cards and activity books provided with the house. We made good use of them on the rainy days. The cabin was very stocked and had everything we need. Host were great and very quick to respond……

The growth of the plants around the perimeter of the lake prevented us from being able to fish from the bank behind the cabin. We are planning on coming up again next year if it is possible.
