"Very clean loft, awesome views from the balcony/hot tub, very responsive host. Has everything you need with a convenient store and local restaurant just a couple minutes walk down the street, Poas Volcano/park nearby and the town of Poas 10 minute drive away (huge restaurant selection, gas stations, supermarket etc.). Can get windy as it's up on a hill so bring ear plugs or white noise app if you're a light sleeper "

"This house is located far enough away to not be in the downtown city. The nights and mornings were quiet. Yet close enough to get to the volcano and the beach. (Note everything takes an hour or more to get to) The family enjoyed the stay. The house layout is excellent. The refrigerator, oven, stove are excellent. Important if you like to cook like we do. The gym was good. The only draw back, the pool was cold for some. I thought it was just fine but others thought it could be Heated. All in all,...

"Super host! Very communicative from start to finish. The accommodations were superb. The kids loved the pool area. We were all entertained with the outdoor living space. Everything easy and accessible in the kitchen, to allow for a lot of “at home” meal preparation. The bedrooms very comfortable, and wheelchair accessible (for my father). A gorgeous backyard garden with a strolling path for everyone, including my father. We will all be back!!"

"We felt right at home at Villa la Jolla. The house had everything we needed for a simple, relaxing stay. We were able to cook our own meals, good internet, Smart TV, comfortable furniture - nothing too lavish - just right for us. The pool is a lovely treat. From time to time, friendly iguanas and agouti came into the yard to visit. There is a green area next to the house with beautiful bird life. It is a convenient location - a short drive into Atenas..
