Nice quiet and clean room, staff really looked after us, nothing was any trouble, food was delicious, the stargazing was brilliant even though it was cloudy the planetarium was a fantastic! Very informative, well worth a visit!
Nice clean room, bonus drying room excellent food, the staff absolutely brilliant, and what a lovely place to stay on my hadrians wall walk, just past the sycamore gap and at night you feel like you can touch the stars 🌟 overall 10/10 experience 😀 thanks 👍 Jason from bolton
This is such an amazing place. Its in a really wild location very close to Hadrian's Wall, beautiful countryside - but it can get a little wet and windy. So stepping into this cosy welcoming place and having some of their own beer and food in front of the fire is just exactly what you want. Stay the whole weekend and explore the Vindolanda museum. You can even get there by bus! And at night the stars are so bright
We had a fun evening in the pub, good food, and nice people. Our room was clean, comfortable, and perfectly sound proofed. We overlooked the parking lot but couldn’t hear people, cars, or dogs, even though we could see them. Great location for exploring Hadrians wall when you have limited time as we did.
As a hiker on the Hadrians Wall trail, this venue had everything; good food, good beer and a good drying room. After a wet walk this was most welcome.
This place was very convenient on the Wall trail and would highly recommend.
They have a great setup here; very convenient for hiking or bicycle riding. They were always able to accommodate our large group at mealtime. We also enjoyed the planetarium show.
All as it should be, clean, comfortable, good food in the evening and breakfast even when busy. the weather wasn't good but the bar offered a cosy area to relax.
Excellent property, very welcoming, friendly staff, dog friendly, fabulous food, had a great sunday roast dinner & a lovely breakfast with our overnight stay. Comfortable, clean rooms. Also great spot to stop to walk Hadrians wall and visit sycamore gap.Highly recomend stopping by at this property.
