It did the job - a less expensive, established hotel right next to word class surf. Charming but needing a little TLC. Staff were great. Included breakfast was basic.

Had a wonderful four-day stay here. The location is hard to beat if you’re here to surf and they have rental boards easy to grab. The staff are excellent and helped us figure out the area, book a fishing trip and also cooked our catch when we returned. The food was excellent and it all seemed like a bargain. Of everywhere we walked past I’d likely stay here again for the combination of location, access to surf, amazing views and everything we needed for our visit.

Great place to stay. Only wish we had booked this place for longer. Rooms were adequate, clean, the air conditioning struggled a bit but overall stayed cool. Location, location, location...this place perfectly centered in a picturesque area and surf hub. Pool was refreshing overlooking the beach, restaurant was great, staff was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

It was ok for a short time with the family. The main pro’s of this property was: great location (beach front) with actually sand and a good ocean to swim, surf or just listen to the waves; good intentions of the housekeeper to serve well. Con’s: very old towels and bed sheets, the property needs maintenance, no love in the kitchens restaurant, I stayed 3 nights and never got to order a ceviche (it was in the menu and is really easy to get in a daily basis). Overall, it was ok. We had a good family time but in the future I’ll look for new options.

Dit hotel heeft 1 absoluut pluspunt…. Locatie!!! Direct aan het surfstrand gelegen van Santa Catalina. Je loopt de trap af en je bent op het strand. Op dit strand kunnen (beginnend) surfers zich perfect uitleven. Klein stukje rijden richting het andere deel van Santa Catalina waar je de trips naar Coiba eiland kan doen (aanrader). Hotel zelf is gedateerd. Kamers hebben echt wat aandacht nodig. Net als de openbare delen van het hotel. Het is oud en heeft achterstallig onderhoud. Niet boeken met verwachtingen voor luxe en goede service. Wel voor de panama vibe en top lokatie.

This is our 2nd visit to the family-owned and operated Hotel Mama Ines and we enjoyed both times immensely. This time we enjoyed getting there on the newly-paved road, which was a wonderful surprise. The infinity pool is gorgeous and kept very clean. We enjoyed the beach. The restaurant serves excellent food 👌 We especially liked the fish fingers. Room #1 with the private patio and hammock is our favorite and we were given the jubilados "senior discount." The restaurant staff even brought the food to ouf patio. Hôtel très agréable, très bien situé avec une vue magnifique depuis les différentes terrasses. Malheureusement, nous avons hérité d'une chambre spartiate, très sombre (une maigre ouverture en hauteur donnant sur un parking) sans extérieur, sans frigo ni même un verre à dents !

This property didn't have great reviews, and the photos didn't do it justice, this exceeded our expectations! the restaurant was excellent staff were friendly, and the layout makes for lots of private nooks to eat and hang out in. Great location, you can walk down to the beach and river.

A equipe de atendimento do caixa e recepção é boa e gentil, já as garçonetes do restaurante demoram pra atender em qualquer horário, ate mesmo no café da manhã. Nosso quarto triplo estava com problema na fechadura, e o quarto é extremamente apertado para ser triplo, o banheiro tem uma cortina no box que acaba ficando totalmente molhado. O hotel está bem localizado na praia, ce conta com uma boa area de bar, restaurante e piscina.

This is a tropical paradise. Great beach better than any on Island ( we checked and compared) room on 2nd floor with balcony with awesome view. Room a little rustic ; but we go for beach; a/c kept room cool. Mama Ines granddaughter is manager shared history; oldest property in Santa Catalina used to be their family home. Two cats kept us company. Next. Door to Surf camp; great frozen cocktails; Enjoy!!oh; ;dont arrive in island at dusk. Dogs roaming everywhere you will drive into one(wanted to bring one home) don’t believe weather forecast; it had clouds every day: we had loads of sun.

Très bel emplacement mais...

L'endroit est vraiment très bien situé juste devant la plage (pas mieux)accessible par un escalier direct de l'hôtel, belle piscine, mais les chambres sont dans leur jus (vieillissantes) la propreté est plus que moyenne ... Petit déjeuné très sympa, personnel serviable mais service très long (bon c'est les vacances ok)..
