Family wedding in area

Excellent property, comfortable great kitchen open floor plan for flow of conversations. Awesome outdoor porch & fire pit areas close to town- street for house is narrow, very private, quiet & secluded. Would definitely stay again.

Well appointed and great views.

Really enjoyed our stay with a big group. The cabin is very close to Highlands Main Street as well - about 10 minutes. House is well equipped with everything you’d need.

Great stay in Highlands

My family and I loved this property. Beautiful scenery, comfortable beds, and fun amenities (hot tub, ping pong table, great fire pit). Also loved the large open deck above and the screened-in porch below. And Highlands is such a great mountain community with good restaurants and cool temperatures in July.

Family Destination Wedding

We had a family wedding at Flat Mountain Farm (which was beautiful) and needed a place for the extended family to stay. This place was the perfect choice. Very close to the venue and held the entire family with ease. Very much enjoyed the property and appreciated it.

Highlands before high school Mom/daughter weekend

Great location, and plenty of space. 5 moms, 5 daughters. We had room to separate, but the large dining table made eating together fun. Moms loved the coffee bar and large back porch. Daughters loved the space downstairs and hot tub. Perfect weekend.

Senior Citizen Retreat

The cabin was perfect. Plenty of room. Very clean. Very spacious. Snacks provided. Kitchen utensils supplied just like at home. Loved the back porch and a beautiful view. The bed were very comfortable. No complaints and plan to make this an annual trip. Tiffany was an awesome property manager. The only thing that I would really like is window coverings in the dining room and living room. Overall, wonderful place to stay.

Three Generations

Lots of space inside and out for group meals or games. Terrific views. Easy to find. We roasted marshmellows at firepit, grilled feasts on top deck, relaxed in hot tub on lower porch, held ping pong, axe throwing, air hockey competitions. Kitchen was well-equipped. There was a high chair and pack n play crib on site for the baby. Shopped and dined in Highlands after hikes to waterfalls, fishing, or walks thru botanical gardens. We even found a playground that delighted the children. We hope to return!

Perfect family getaway rental!!

What a wonderful stay we had at this home! It was very clean, updated, and great for a big family or group. It was beautifully decorated with a warm, cozy atmosphere. The kids loved the den / game room downstairs. The location was great; close to downtown but tucked away in the mountains. The host was outstanding; very organized and thorough and responded quickly to questions. She was very accommodating; and even sent informative information regarding events and attractions beforehand to help plan our trip. They were many special touches in the home; sound machines in every room, clear and detailed instructions on the features in the home, we’ll equipped kitchen, and even some welcome baskets of treats for our stay. You could tell she wanted our stay to be a great experience and to make us feel very welcome-and we did! I look forward to staying at this rental again in the future😊

Girls Weekend Trip

The house was clean and spacious and perfect for a large group! With so many girls, it would’ve been nice to have one extra shower somewhere. Great location, easy to find and get to the Main St area. Enjoyed our stay!

A Real Winner!

It was wonderful. With 3 king size beds on 3 floors, we all had privacy. We had planned for 16, but only 11 were there. It was so beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Adults and teens enjoyed the hot tub. All enjoyed downtown Highlands. Teens and young adults enjoyed the various waterfalls, with Bust your Butt Falls being the favorite. Of the 6 places this family has rented , this was our favorite.

Fall Foliage Find

What an amazing house and property this was. We were looking for a place for everyone to hang out, play games, build a fire, and make some memories. It was the perfect house with PLENTY of room. The location is 8 minutes from downtown Highlands. The property is spacious, cozy, and around the corner from great hikes and amazing views. We left talking about specifically renting this house again!

An overall great stay!

Our trip to this property was a great experience. The property owner was quick to reply to my messages prior to the stay, and even more importantly did not to respond to any calls or messages because the property was perfectly described and in great condition. The children especially enjoyed the air ho key, and the adults enjoyed their own bedrooms. The great room was a perfect place to meet and enjoy each other while the kids were playing downstairs. I have no reservation in recommending this property to the reader.

Perfect Large Group Getaway

Evergreen Acres more than accomodated our group of friends and kids. Everyone had a very comfortable bed to sleep in, with comofrable linens, and the kids had a place to hang out and relax while the adults enjoyed the porch and upstairs sitting area. The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to use, and the whole house was very clean and organized. I'm picky about vacation rentals, but this one was wonderful.
