“There’s a bed and running water. And the water has a smell. The wasps downstairs own the house. The toaster oven does not work so don’t take that in to account for making food. The dock in the pictures is no longer there. The shower is as big as Porta-John, so good luck if you’re a full sized man. You have to bury yourself under the shower head just to get wet. I used the nearby Leeland/Third Ward MetroRail station which is 2 stops from the GRB. There is a concrete slab from a torn down building that I used to park next to the station. “I have to be honest and say I thought the area looked a little sketchy at first getting to the property but I was pleasantly surprised as we got closer and I felt safe in the area. It was a nice, convenient drive to the George R. Brown Convention center which was our reason for visiting the area.
