the location is great with easy beach and bike path access. the only downside could be the limited parking but that was not an issue during our stay. I was thrilled that it was available 6 hours before our checkin time! That allowed us to unpack early and get our vacation started!

Small and functional house Three nice size bedrooms each with their own bath. Nice kitchen and laundry room. Nice little backyard. Wish it had been fenced. But very close proximity to the beach. We had a lovely time.

By far the best asset of this property is its location!! Quiet neighborhood - steps from the beach - access to services. Property management company and property manager were very responsive. As other reviews have shared - the house needs some updates - dishwasher and fridge need replacing. Beds were not ideal. Location made up for everything!!

Lovely house and location

We loved this property for our fall break vacation. The house was the perfect size for our small family. It is conveniently located right across the street from the beach access. We walked to Salty Dog for a number of meals (kids love it there). Quiet area. The property manager responded within minutes when we had one question. The heated pool was great to swim in when outside temps dipped a little lower. A great house for a vacation!

Wonderful trip to Hilton Head

Overall the home was clean and in a great location. Very comfortable furniture and a good layout. The refrigerator and washer/dryer definitely need updating. Ice maker on refrigerator did make ice but the dispenser is broken and taped off. Other than that it was a great stay!

Another fabulous vacation

This was the second year in a row we stayed here for our family vacation. We love staying here because it’s a beautiful house, with a pool and hot tub, but our favorite part about this house is its location, directly across from a public beach access, so going back-and-forth to the beach with a quick walk at any time is a cinch. The Vacation Company is always so easy to work with before and during our stay, very quick responses to any questions and so helpful. Both years we have brought our dog, and they always leave a little care package with treats, waterbowl, etc. for her, too. We highly recommend this location and this rental company for a stress-free stay!

Property is ideally situated within Sea Pines on southern most coast. Very convenient to get to South Beach Marina and Salty Dog Cafe. Only steps away to get to the beach. Pool was wonderful retreat. Home is as described with three nice bedrooms all with private bathrooms. Family room well laid out with soaring ceilings throughout the home. Will definitely look to book this home again.

Perfect location!

This house was perfect for our week in Hilton Head. The close proximity to the beach path and South Beach Marina cannot be beat! We spent many hours enjoying the pool and took many bike rides to the Salty Dog. We loved being able to have our pup along also for her first visit to the ocean!

Great place to stay in HH!

Amazing stay at this property. Plenty of room. Only qualm was the dishwasher is positioned in a way that you can’t open some of the kitchen drawers all the way. Other than that, well stocked with essentials and check in was easy. Felt secure with the lock code and the pool was amazing! Even got cleaned while we were there. Bikes were great and it was so nice having a separate bathroom off of each bathroom. Nice big table for family meals and parking was super close and the property really was just a couple dozen yards from the beach! Absolutely would stay here again.

3 Scaup is a very nice rental property. The location is great. Walk through the backyard, cross the street and you’re at the short path to the beach. The Salty Dog is a short drive/ bike ride away. The house is clean and comfortable. The pictures make it look a bit larger than it is. The space is adequate, we just expected it to be larger based on the photos. It’s a little tired, especially on the outside. We really enjoyed the pool. At its deepest, it’s about 5 and a half feet. The hot tub is nice, but it doesn’t have jets to massage you. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to rent it again.

We had a great stay. Proximity to beach was great and the pool was perfect!! We had some issues with turning on the spa but the management company was prompt helping us out. Only negative was a neighbor adamant their dog covered in sand and saltwater could swim in the same pool my 2 month old was enjoying. We said no and after brief persistence the neighbor agreed to keep the dog out for our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this property and would definitely recommend it to others! The location was exceptional—just a quick 5–7 minute walk to the beach, and having Tower Beach nearby with restroom access made beach days extra convenient. Being right around the corner from the Salty Dog and other amenities was nice too.The house itself was comfortable, clean, and well-suited for a family getaway. The pool area was a highlight for us, with plenty of space to relax after a day at the beach (although the bugs were terrible this year!).That said, there are a couple of updates that would make future stays even better. The mattress in the primary bedroom could use replacing, and the landscaping around the pool area could use a little refreshing to really make the outdoor space shine.Overall, though, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, loved the location, and appreciated the amenities. With a few small updates, this property would be truly outstanding!

Great home

Our first impression was great. House was very clean. Newer couches and kitchen appliances.. The pool was clean and ready to use. The location was a very easy walk to the beach and salty dog.we had one issue with the spa heat and they had someone out in 15 minutes to help. Communication was excellent.! Definitely a great comfy place to stay!

Love the location and pool, we did not like dead roaches upon the later 4 PM arrival. Tons of roaches, large and small, and so heavy at night we never ate in the house or used the kitchen except for the frig. This is a great house that needs sealing up and a better pest control company. If you are in the pool at night, the roaches are all over the outside of the house, quite nasty. I killed a bunch the first night then just took pictures of the roaches sitting in the kitchen cabinets for the rest of the week. I lived in Hilton Head before and never have seen roaches this bad. The appliances are old so I would plan to eat out if you stay here. The beach and restaurants are great.

Perfect location

This is a beautiful home with a pool, right across the street from a beach access. It’s also only about a five minute walk to South Beach Marina. The Vacation Company was very responsive to any inquiries. We had our dog with us, and they even left a welcome package for her, too!
