Beautiful Colonial-style Home with Lagoon Views and Newly-Constructed Pool!

  • What's not to love with this well thought out home and all it has to offer? All three bathrooms just completed renovation in April 2024!

    The first floor consists of a large living room with ample beach-contemporary furniture providing seating for the whole family. Completing the living room is a large wall-mounted Smart TV for your pleasure.

    Adjacent to the living room is the formal dining area with seating for six. The kitchen is large and open while providing all the necessities of home. With stainless steel appliances, two-tone updated cabinets and granite countertops it'll be a pleasure cooking a meal for the whole family. In the kitchen there's also a breakfast nook which seats four. Just off the kitchen is a newly renovated bathroom with custom walk-in shower.

    Between the kitchen and living areas you'll find the study, which is an excellent area to read a book or have a conversation. There's also a two-person arcade game! Completing the first floor is a large Carolina Room with two separate tables which combined can seat eight guests. Upstairs you'll find all the bedrooms.

    The Primary bedroom has a king bed, en-suite Primary bathroom and a private balcony which overlooks the huge backyard and lagoon! The newly updated Primary bathroom consists of a new two sink vanity and very large custom tiled walk-in shower! The first and second guest bedrooms each boast a queen bed and mounted HDTV. The third guest bedroom has a set of twin bunks and its own mounted HDTV. The newly updated guest bathroom on this floor is a tub and shower combination. There is an additional full guest bathroom which was just updated and is found downstairs next to the dining room.

    Out back you're going to love your large patio with outdoor dining table and propane grill. The newly constructed pool is absolutely beautiful and features a large connected spa. The beach can be accessed by a short five minute or less drive, fifteen or so minute bike ride or by calling the Palmetto Dunes Buggy which is a seasonal and on-call shuttle service!

    The spa and pool can be heated (June 1st - October 1st) for an additional fee.

    **BEACH RENOURISHMENT PROJECT***
    Mid-November 2025 to Mid-March 2026 (Dates are subject to change)
    This project, undertaken by Hilton Head Island/Beaufort County, is vital for protecting the shoreline, maintaining a wide and beautiful beach for everyone to enjoy, and ensuring the long-term health of the coastal ecosystem.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay for 6 adults and 3 kids under 3. While the pool was fantastic and the house layout was great, there were a few surprises. The pictures Kayaks and lagoon were off limits, chained shut? The tvs had no cable but required subscriptions and the front and back door latches would not close. You had to use the deadbolt to keep doors closed or locked. The staff did respond to a request for propane and the house was clean and spacious. We would definitely return and the beach shuttles were awesome!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely horrific experience. The house itself has so much potential and the new pool is so pretty but absolutely filthy inside. 90+ photos we submitted upon check in- mold in the rooms along the baseboards, all utensils in kitchen dirty, beds made inside out (assuming they just flipped the sheets), pool was filthy, couldn’t walk without shoes, stove didn’t work, had no ac the unit was broke (it was august we stayed). Told by the office that someone would be out to address all issues but no one ever came, we slept in the clothes we drove in, had to book another rental with another company, had to fight to get our money back. The staff in palmetto dunes office are absolutely the rudest humans I’ve encountered and if I could warn anyone it’s to never stay with them. They tried to move us to another property the next day that had BLOOD all over the furniture cushions and trash stuck everywhere and was 2 grand less than the 5 we had paid to stay. Horrible experience.

While there was a small drive to get to most things like golf, the beach and restaurants, it was not an inconvenience. We also took advantage of the Dunes Buggy service a few times which was great. We loved dining at the Dunes House when at the beach and dinner at Alexanders was especially good. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay at Palmetto Dunes.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this was a fantastic trip. We used Dunes Buggy Transportation several times. The house was as described and pictures are true. The pool was very nice. There is plenty of room for two families to stay and not feel like they are on top of each other. Located at the front of Palmetto Dunes one should expect to hear emergency vehicle sirens multiple times throughout the day and night. However, you can not hear other road noise. It’s a very nice area to walk or ride bikes. As with every PD rental we have stayed in, it could use a thorough cleaning. There is a leak under the kitchen sink. We had to call maintenance out due to the downstairs bathroom door nearly off of the hinges (held on by one screw) and because the outside outlet didn’t work. The outlet next to the blue cabinet in the kitchen also has a short in it. Sometimes it would work and other times it would not. Maintenance did not find that the outside outlet had tripped the breaker. We assume it has a short like the kitchen outlet.
