Great get away condo

Perfect beach condo for 2 . Lots of room great outdoor porch area furnished. Directly across from the beach and pool area. Loved the great pickel ball courts and great instructors.

Convenient. Great location.

Very nice condo and location

Very clean and neat. Main bathroom, with walkin shower, is a bit tight but that's not a deal breaker for me. Not a far walk to the beach. The huge deck is a plus and the pond is great for ambiance.

Great Location

Love staying at The Island Club. This was our 3rd timing staying in this complex. The location to the beach is just a few steps put the door. I feel that it is safe and family friendly. This condo had a beautiful view of the lagoon and had a large deck/padio. The inside was clean and updated. Nice size livingroom, diningroom and bedroom that had a king size bed. However the bathroom and kitchen was small but worked.

Nice Location

Great spot to relax as long as the other units (top,side) are not booked, walls are paper thin. Easy walk to the beach, good central location to golfing, shopping. Unfortunately the dishwasher was leaking, which was fixed. The washing machine timer does not work very well, was mentioned to repair technician, not fixed. Bugs on the bedroom walls that needed to be cleaned up each night, called about that, nothing done. Nice view from the deck looking over the pond, a sun umbrella would have been a nice addition, too sunny and hot to sit there very long. Place needs a little TLC..good for a night or two.

Needs updates and more thorough cleaning

The chairs on the porch were all broken and just by grace didn’t fall apart when we sat in them. There was a dead lizard at the bottom of the sliding glass door and no one had vacuumed underneath anything. There was also dirty silverware in the drawer. On the surface it seemed clean enough and we enjoyed our stay. Had some issues with checking in because it wasn’t after hours but the office was closed and we missed the box outside the office so that was frustrating. All-in-all we liked the room but it needed to be cleaned a little more thoroughly.

Close, but no view

Was a nice accommodation offering lots of space and all the comforts of home, but you could not view the beach from the apartment. Another downside was that it is listed as handicap accessible, but you have to navigate 5 steps to get into the unit. Other than that the unit was lovely, comfortable, and well equipped.

Island Club 153

Great Location

Even though it wasn’t beach view we had a pond view with a fountain and it was very relaxing! The beach access was just a few steps away and the property was beautiful.

Hilton Head Lodging

This was a very comfortable condo located close to the beach. It was quite clean and the bed was super comfortable. We liked the location on the northern end of the island. It was convenient to the things we wanted to do and less crowded. Whenever we are able to return to Hilton Head we will try to book the same condo.

Choose another unit.

Great location with a nice corner deck. House probably has original wallpaper and fixtures. Wallpaper peeling in corners of living room, Tub grout gross. Outside electrical outlet corroded and cover lying on ground. You could tell it has been there for a long time. 3 other electrical issues were corrected while we were there. Dryer so noisy you need to leave the room when it is running. Dryer is also missing the lint filter. Carpet was dirty.

A great getaway

I thought 153 was laid out great the people at the resort were more than willing to help and courteous. The reason for a four-star instead of a five was that the carpets were vacuumed but needed to be shampooed

We have stayed in island club before and property is nice but the unit 153 not so much. It appeared that our unit was not cleaned there were still cleaner in the shower. We rented a DVD the DVD player did not work. They left dirty linens by the door that remained there all week. Needless to say we were disappointed .

Clean but extremely dated

Yes, its a corner unit, the beach is a few hundred feet away, it has a large deck, and Vacasa does a good job of cleaning it the best they can. This property is extremely dated. I knew it was somewhat dated based on the pictures but it is dated more than I could imagine. Even with deep cleaning, there is only so much one could do to improve the unit. The list of issues is too long to report but include various rusted components (refrigerator, hinges, fans...just about anything metal has rust), the bedroom has a monitor instead of a TV, I had to shove a folded sheet between the headboard and the wall because it continually knocks against the wall with the slightest movement (every time I turned in my sleep or coughed, it woke me), mattress has a lump down the middle, carpet coming up from floor in several places, sockets uncovered, pots and pans all teflon coated which is scratched and coming off... Most definitely not worth the money charged. In serious needed of a complete update.

Great location

Great location. Short walk to the beach, the pond is right out your back door. Could use a couple upgrades, but great for a small family and It is lower level, end unit which is great after a day at the beach.
