「We had a great stay at Moorcroft for two nights. Couple of tips: 1) Exit at Howick off N3 as the roads are paved, 2) Bring rain gear as it rained quite a bit when we were there, 3) Aim to arrive before sunset as it gets quite dark on the roads, 4) The kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m. and there aren’t too many options nearby. Very comfortable and clean rooms, great dinner in the dining room, helpful receptionists, and a very nice and helpful night watchman, Ben, making the place feel safe. Good to drive the car through the gates at night too, even though the Himeville and Underberg areas feel safe.」
