Perfect place to stay in Miyajima! Wonderful location, we really enjoyed the sea view! Nice hotel, well decorated, very clean and spacious japanese style room, comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and excellent kaiseki dinner! Many thanks to all the staff. Really recommended!

The staff here went beyond any service I’ve had anywhere before. The property is gorgeous, we loved the public bath, amenities, traditional dinner and breakfast, and activities in the lobby. Truly a wonderful experience.

Everything seemed a bit dated. The room was clean but had an interesting smell to it. So did the futons. What startled us was that they closed the Hotel after 22:00 so HAD to be back before. Otherwise you'd not get back in. So you couldn't really explore the island at night which was a pity. The staff was very friendly and helpful and did their best to make our stay comfortable. Unfortunately they struggled with my partner's food-sensitivity (eggs) so we still had to evaluate ourselves what he could eat and what he should leave. Das Hotel hatte den Charme und Geruch einer DDR Jugendherberge.

The dinner was the best we've had in Japan. The staff were amazing, all spoke English and were friendlyand helpful, we only stayed one night and wish we stayed longer.

Shuttle for bags during the day and a shuttle to get you to the hotel later that day was excellent. Room was beautiful and peaceful. Food was fantastic as were all of the staff!

The location is beautiful. A bit of a way from the town so the shuttle bus is really useful and the tourist information at the ferry terminal is more than happy to call for you if the bus isn’t waiting. The staff were all very welcoming and the public bath, dinner and breakfast were all very Japanese and very good indeed. I would definitely recommend this ryokan.

the shuttle is very convenient in taking your bags to the hotel before check-in so you can explore the island. The dinner in the room was one of the best meals we had. There was a night shuttle to the main area so that you can walk around for the illumination. Breakfast was perfect. Would stay again

The hotel staff were all very warm and welcoming, making the stay feel cozy and pleasant. Although the hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the port and major attractions, the complimentary shuttle service is very convenient and generally available upon request during working hours. Considering the price, it's a great value for money.

This is a very peaceful stay away from the big cities; the traditional Japanese room was an enjoyed by our family of four. The meals are traditional which was a great experience for our kids but one can request American type meal if you’re not partial to seafood/sashimi or different textures. The shuttle is a big bonus as they picked up our bags in the AM from the ferry terminal so we could explore the area unhindered. The staff are very gracious and welcoming. I would have liked to spend more time to enjoy the surrounding nature and the friendly deer

Beautiful hotel on a beautiful island, my family only stayed one night but it was enough to fully enjoy the traditional japanese style of living; The futon beds were very great!!! And the traditional dinner and breakfast provided was a unique experience for us all, we loved it!
