"Schöne, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung auf zwei Etagen, etwas dunkel, auch weil üblicherweise die Läden zur Straße hin geschlossen sind (könnte man aber öffnen). Voll ausgestattete Küche, netter Freisitz auf der Terrasse, der übrige Garten gehört allerdings der Vermieter-Familie. Sehr netter und reibungsloser Kontakt. Was man wissen sollte: Mercallo liegt im Einzugsgebiet des Mailänder Flughafens, es rauschen öfter mal tief fliegende Flugzeuge über das Dorf. Das Haus liegt mitten im Dorf, man bekommt also einiges von der Nachbarschaft mit, vom bellenden Hund über die benachbarte Grundschule bis zu durchfahrenden Autos. Mich hat das alles nicht gestört, aber es ist dadurch etwas weniger ruhig, als man vermuten könnte."
