Historical Center hotels in Naples

"Beautiful view of the Galleria. The staff was always very helpful and polite. The room was big size for Europe hotels. The day bed was a great idea. The breakfast was included and it had a variety of items, both for European and Western cuisine. The espressos were excellent! The reasons why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because my room did not have a towel warmer which I’m used to at Italian hotels. Sometimes, I do a quick wash of small items and let them dry on the towel warmer overnight. I missed the comfort. I will be prepared for next time. Location was pretty. Right in the middle of everything you need and want. I recommend taking the ferry to Capri, Positano, Sorrento, etc. it is only a 20 minute walk and the ferries are frequent. "

"The AC worked fine. Would have liked it a bit cooler, but overall it worked fine. I didn't do much shopping around the area. My wife has a walking disability so had to plan things out strategically. Still though the hotel was in a prime spot to get local food. Staff was very friendly and the view.... the view was amazing! 10/10 that sold it for me."

"We had a lovely stay at Albergo Palazzo Decumani! Check in was easy and our room was ready for us. The room was large, clean, with a large bathroom, too. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Elevator worked really well. The location of the hotel is very close to Via Spaccinapoli, which has all the cafes, shopping, etc. The breakfast, which is included, is wonderful with a buffet of eggs, quiche, beautiful pastries, expresso, etc. We were impressed!"

"The menu is extremely simple. Coffee and one piece of pastry from the Bar Foria next to the hotel. There is a good selection to choose from and it tastes excellent. "

"The room and hotel was very nice. We did not have the hotel breakfast. We found a very good pastry nearby. The hotel is in a location that is a lengthy walk from the shopping areas and historic area. Not a lot going on along the waterfront."

"This is an elegant, old-world hotel and is beautifully maintained. The staff were very gracious and helpful. The room was large with high ceilings, an elegant bathroom and a small balcony opening out to the bay. There was a hot water kettle with packs of coffee and a mini-fridge. The rooftop bar/restaurant was a lovely spot for a drink at sunset. The waterfront area directly in front of the hotel is great for walking, and is being refinished very attractively with gray paving stones. It is a 10-12 minute walk along the waterfront to Molo Beverello port for ferries to Capri, Amalfi, etc."
