“This establishment was by far one of the nicest places I have ever stayed... It felt more like renting a house than being at a hotel... Mostly because we were the only people there due to bad weather. The property is very remote, with a 15 to 30 minute drive to go to Walmart or dinner. (A lot of places close at 9:00 p.m., so get there early.) The property was very quiet in the morning, which allowed for spending time outside and enjoying nature... Especially from the enclosed deck. “The hotel is very quiet and easy to find. It's a bit far from the bustling streets, but the breakfast provided is excellent, and there's a convenient gym available. However, after I left my room early in the morning, the staff might have thought I had checked out. They cleaned the room and accidentally threw away my water bottle and hat. When I returned, I couldn't find them, which was a little upsetting.”

“The A/C didn’t work in one of the rooms we reserved, I requested daily housekeeping service and didn’t get it. The balcony door in one of our rooms didn’t lock so it didn’t seal. GREAT VIEW! But won’t be back to this hotel again!”

After contacting the bedding, my skin became itchy, which raised concerns about cleanliness. “We stayed here in a suite before leaving for a cruise. The property was fairly clean, our room was spacious, but we asked for a rollaway bed which was delivered before arrival. To say the rollaway bed was awful is an understatement. We have a 17 yr old girl and 15 yr old boy and them sleeping together would be strange and uncomfortable for them which is why we asked for the rollaway. First, the mattress had a huge stain which was completely unacceptable, and all you could feel was springs,……

“I received an old refrigerator and an even older microwave; both items should have been thrown away. The tub wasn’t clean and the toilet was very low to the floor. The balcony had chip paint that came off on your hands and arms. This hotel needs some upgrades, but it does have potential to be a wonderful place to stay. The front desk staff are wonderful, very nice and helpful.”
