Great location and very comfortable stay.
Some negatives is if staying on ground floor, noise from passers by can be annoying. But generally it’s fine.

Character
Character, location, extra touches such as coffee machine and port excellent. The only downside was parking. When we have stayed in similar properties in the UK we have been supplied with residents parking permits

We stayed in the Wellington for 7 nights. When we booked, the advertising stated that a car park was available. Just prior to leaving we were advised that there was only one car park available for the three units. We were also advised that the parking was allocated on a first in best dressed basis.
There appeared to be no other quests requiring parking during our stay, so we were able to park in the car park the entire time.
If we had been required to share the car park it would have necessitated looking for parking on the street. There is very little street parking in the area with daytime.
parking limited to 2 hour periods between 8am and 6pm.
Our stay was pleasant and the area is excellent being close to restaurants.
The facilities were lacking slightly in that there was no cable TV options and very limited DVD's supplied.

Beautiful old building and room
Beautiful building and room. We stayed in the Wellington which is on the ground floor. If you are a light sleeper then probably not a good place to stay as this is an old building so you have hear all the footsteps from the second floor at night when people upstairs are walking around.

A well kept secret in the heart of Battery Point just next to Arthur’s Circus. We stayed in the Wellington apartment and would go back tomorrow. Hosts were easily contacted and very helpful

Very Comfy
Loved staying here the bed was comfy, close to everything Salamanca and the wharf precinct. Ted was a great communicator
Rooms were clean and luxury with antique furniture.
We Could feel history of Hobart from this 165 years old building.
Kids could play at Two parks near the hotel.
Staying here for several days worked well for my wife, 6 year old daughter and myself. Great location. Layout is tight (only three room = main bedroom, bath, small bed room with tiny kitchenette), but this works well for a short stay. Manager is not on site, but came by the first day and was friendly and helpful. Only negative was contact information for owner / manager is missing on VRBO site, and owner did not contact me with lockbox combo until a couple days ahead.
Nice heritage property in main street of Battery Point. Easy walk to Salamanca Markets and local eateries. The fixtures and fittings are well done in keeping with the heritage nature of the property. Heating works quite well, but would love to have sat in front of the fireplace. Netflix wasn’t working on the tv unfortunately but that’s a minor negative of a great property.
A beautiful heritage building and interior, great heating for the winter. Lovely street and 10 min walk to Salamanca, plus a couple of cafes and restaurants within a 2 minute walk !
Great location, comfortable, quiet, well presented, spacious

Historic and well-located
Beautiful well-appointed flat with history in an ideal location in Battery Point, just uphill from Salamanca Market and within sight of Arthurs Circus. Easy walking distance to the centre of town and with a good selection of local cafes and restaurants within a minute of the apartment.
Comfortable bed. Good heaters. Easy walking distance to CBD.
The people I dealt with were lovely, helpful, and accommodating as far as early check-in and holding my luggage after check-out until I was ready.
Beautiful area - information on the buildings and history of the area readily available online.
Reliable wifi.
Kitchen had everything we needed.
Restaurants, cafes, and bakeries close by.
Shower was lovely.
No complaints at all - it was a perfect place to stay, and I will be back.
