「This property was located in a great spot - right downtown Southern Pines - near shopping and restaurants. HOWEVER, property was not what we expected. The outside patio overgrown and unkept. Upon entering there were two dead cockroaches in the entry way. Upholstered furniture was dirty and stained as well. Hand towel in bathroom had dirty marks on itand supply of other towels was less than desirable. Only two thin towels - white towels that appeared gray and one very old wash cloth. Bed...

「I was visiting for a week and enjoyed this stay. Good location because everything is close by. The host was really nice and informative before, during and after check-in/check-out. Response time on any questions or concerns were almost immediate. The unit had everything you could need for your stay in case you forgot something. I appreciate that the photos matched in person and how clean everything was. 10/10 would recommend and would stay again.」

「Very cute studio unit. It was very clean, nicely furnished and very well equipped. The host was very helpful. The location was great - only 6 minutes from the Pinehurst Clubhouse.」

It is on the second floor, so for anyone with mobility issues,...

「We really enjoyed Southern Pines, The Slate at The Shire is extremely convenient to walk to town, our car stayed parked the entire time. We came to visit Casino Guitars and wound up enjoying everything the town had to offer. The apartment is very clean and perfect for us. We enjoyed all the modern amenities. We would definitely stay here again.」
