Embassy Suites by Hilton Miami International Airport
2/10 Terrible
"The hotel is extremely old, poorly maintained, and does not feel like a four-star hotel. When we arrived earlier than the anticipated arrival time, the front desk assigned us a room that was not cleaned. The housekeeper told us she still needed another hour to finish. A head housekeeper then opened another room for us without keys and told us to wait there temporarily. When we asked the front desk if we could stay in that cleaned room, we were assigned to a different room instead. The whole process was very disorganized. The room itself was very disappointing. The carpet was extremely dirty and had a strong odor. It smelled like chemical air freshener was used to cover the odor, which gave me a headache. The carpet looked like it had not been deep cleaned for a long time. There were sinks in both the bedroom and dining area, which looked strange, and there were holes in the ceiling above each sink that appeared related to water leaks or drainage issues. The furniture was outdated, worn, and dirty. The lounge furniture had visible stains and food particles along the edges, which made the room feel unsanitary. Random flyers were also slid through the door gaps several times, which felt creepy and raised security concerns, as it seemed anyone could access the guest floors. At night, the fire alarm suddenly went off and woke us from sleep. We were on the 10th floor near machinery and ventilation equipment, and the noise was extremely loud. Thankfully, it was a false alarm, but"

Solé Miami, A Noble House Resort

"1 bedroom oceanfront suite has balcony with killer views. They need some stronger coffee in the room. Beautiful beach."

B Ocean Resort Fort Lauderdale Beach
6/10 Okay
"The property was ok. The pool by the beach is very small and crowded. The food was decent but overpriced. The beds were very small and not that comfortable. Tiny bathroom, exhaust fan didn’t work, glass door. Entrance door to our room kept jiggling making it sound like someone was trying to break in, waking us up before the sun came up and continued on for hours. The center pool was a quiet atmosphere and front entrance was nice. The location to the beach was also nice. We also didn’t like having to pay $55 per day for parking. All in all it was alright but we won’t stay there again."

The Sunny
8/10 Good
"Room was newly renovated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pricey but good in the hotel. One thing to take note, the hotel allows non-guests to purchase a day pass to use their facilities. The pool was very crowded over the holiday weekend with a majority of the pool facilities being used by non-hotel guests as indicated by their red wrist bands. Would return on future stays."

"We booked through Expedia. When we got to check-in, we requested to upgrade our room and were told no, that they were at full capacity. Our friends checked in one hour later and were given a room upgrade. They booked through 1 Hotels website using an American Express and were given an upgrade for free. We asked for a late check and were told they lasted they could do was noon. Our friends requested a late checkout and were allowed to check out at 4pm. Probably would stay away from this hotel if you are using Expedia because they will treat you as a second class guest."

Costa Hollywood Beach Resort
2/10 Terrible
"The Security guard at the pool was rude to all the patrons. They don't allow us to drink by the pool or jacuzzi, even if it's in plastic containers. The Argentinian security guard was beyond disrespectful! He treated us all as we were criminals. The rule is stupid. People pay a lot of money to stay at a resort to relax and drink by the water. He threatened to close the jacuzzi and made our stay a horrible experience. We will not"

"First time.in a CitizenM hotel, have stayed at this type of hotel (minimalist) in Europe, so it was not to much of a shock. So not much space but at least it is organized and you do have a lot of space in the common areas, so if you feel too cramped for teo, at least you can escape to lobby area or roof top. Kristina and Adriana eere very helpful with any info needed. Did not do breakfast, but did eat some pizza at the bar."

Fontainebleau Miami Beach
2/10 Terrible
"I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel charges guests for absolutely everything possible. At check-in, a $1,069 hold was placed on my credit card for only 4 days. The room did not even include a regular refrigerator — only a minibar that charges guests simply for opening it. Honestly, I was almost surprised they did not charge guests for air. The room condition was unacceptable for such an expensive hotel: damaged walls and cracked bathroom floors. During Memorial Day weekend, the pool area was overcrowded, and after leaving our towels on the pool chairs for 2 hours, hotel staff removed our belongings and informed us that these spots can only remain unattended for 45 minutes. Guests are not allowed to bring their own food to the pool area and are forced to purchase overpriced food and drinks from the hotel. If you do not reserve pool chairs, those large round lounge beds cost ridiculously high prices — up to $640 per day. Even umbrellas at the beach cost extra. In addition, many purchases inside the hotel automatically include service charges, even for simple items like coffee or ice cream. The hotel also charges a $59 daily resort fee plus multiple additional taxes on top of that fee. For the amount of money guests pay, the overall experience and room quality were extremely disappointing. This was my first and definitely my last stay at Fontainebleau."

"Beautiful property with a great location. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Check-in was probably one of the smoothest I’ve encountered. Will definitely stay again!"
