We stayed here with 12 people and everyone absolutely loved the experience. The house had plenty of space for our families to spread out comfortably. The pool and hot tub were amazing—both adults and kids enjoyed them so much!The location couldn’t have been better: directly across the street from the beach and right near Publix, which was extremely convenient. The hostess was very pleasant and easy to work with.We all loved our stay and had zero complaints. We would definitely stay at this location again!

Perfect Girls Trip Getaway

9 high school besties stayed here to celebrate our 55th birthdays. It was the most wonderful experience and we have zero complaints. Yes, there were a couple of issues, but I received immediate responses and they were resolved. I can't emphasize how convenient the location was. It really made our trip a dream. Grocery/liquor store across the street, walking distance to beach, & free trolley that goes north and south to get around the entire island.

Great family get away!

This home along with all the amenities was wonderful! The pool was perfect for our toddler grandbabies and for our adult children and us grandparents as well. We played ping pong, foosball, utilized the rooftop sitting area, etc. but spent most of our time in the pool. The walk to the grocery and beach was only a block away. The only negative remarks I’d have would be that 2 of the beds upon our arrival did not have fitted sheets on them and we had to wait till Monday to get those. Not much of a problem as there were top sheets in the house that we used till then. One other time during the week our garbage disposal was not working but they had it fixed within the hour. The mosquitos at nighttime were bad so we stayed inside in the evenings. We would definitely go there again for the wonderful home, convenience of the beach and store locations and for the awesome pool. One more thing- we loved the children’s books written by Michele Medlock Adams they had available. And she’s an IU grad! Go Hoosiers! (I’ve already ordered 2 of her books for my home!)

Great family vacay!

Had a wonderful trip. House was clean and in wonderful condition. The location for us was perfect. We rented a golf cart and that got us everywhere we needed or wanted to go. Having Publix across the street was amazing. Cannot wait to come back :)

Fantastic property and location

The property was absolutely perfect for our group. We have three families and a total of 12 people. 6 adults and 6 teens. The location to the beach, Publix and CVS were extremely convenient. The pool/hot tub and back yard grill area were exactly what the kids wanted after a day at the beach. Night swimming was key too while the adults grilled out and were able to relax. I would highly recommend this property and would stay there again.

Great vacation!

Beautiful house in a great location! Can walk to the beach and to Publix for supplies....had a great time....just be aware that pool has a lot of shade...so water temp a little cold...and bug spray is a must!! Otherwise outside area...pool, hot tub, outside kitchen perfect!! Lots of room inside and beautiful furnishings!! Property manager very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this property.

Perfect for large group

Stayed with our large family for a week and couldn't be happier. The house is perfect for larger groups, plenty of space and you don't feel like you are on top of each other. Laundy on site was very nice to have, pool area is the perfect hang out area. House is in a great location on the island, very close to beach and Publix for groceries. Communication with property management was great, they were quick to respond with any issues that came up. After reading reviews about the old/damaged beach chairs I had reached out before our stay to ensure there would be usable chairs and was pleasantly surprised to find 6 new chairs upon our arrival. Very happy with our stay.

Perfect Family Vacation

The house is perfect for a large family vacation. The house is spacious with a large kitchen/dining/family room area. The garage has been converted into a game room with ping pong and poker table. The pool area is stunning, and very worthy of the “Jungle” title. The pool deck has a large screen TV and full cooking/dining area. You can easily spend the whole day by the pool (in the sun or under cover). The beach is a five minute walk, and just about anything you need is available in the downstairs closet. Chairs, wagon, boogie boards, nets, shovels, etc. Publix is right across the street for groceries. Management was very responsive when we needed them for minor concerns. If we return to AMI in the future, we will definitely stay here!

Close to perfect…

Lovely, roomy, clean house. Comfortable beds. Nice beach chairs. And, wow, what a pool. The house backs up to a small grassy area along Gulf Dr., the main road on the island. While at the pool, the waterfall needs to be running to mask the road noise. The house is bright and sunny. Bring sleeping masks for those who do want to rise early. We used golf carts to get to the beach and all around AMI. They were a hit with everyone. Ping pong, PAC-man, foos-ball added to down time fun. Our first visit to AMI. Beautiful beaches, many restaurants but will not come again during spring break. Crowds kept us from dining out as much as we had hoped to. Pool side grilling was a very nice alternative while kids enjoy the pool.

Great size and pool, but needs some TLC.

Overall the house was very nice. Lots of updates needed ( cracked tiles with tape on them, broken towel holders and light switches) We were disappointed that the pool wasn't cleaned until the last day of our trip, and at that point, the kids had to get out of the pool for adding chemicals. The listing said 3 minute walk to the beach, and that was only (kind of) possible if you cut through landscaping and brush, and then crossed a busy intersection, not what I was expecting or able to do with 4 kids. The kitchen was less equipped than what we are used to when visiting AMI. Nothing that by itself would have been a deal breaker (except the dirty pool) but with everything combined, and the price point of the home, we were very disappointed.

Fantastic location

Property was perfectly located within walking distance to both Holmes Beach & Grocery Store (Publix). The 2nd floor master could use a new mattress - definitely has a 'hole' in the middle - and the bedding was not very high quality. Also, be aware there is not even a bar of soap included - so bring that as well as your shampoo, conditioner etc. Plenty of pool towels, chairs, children's beach toys/floats were available which made it nice. The umbrellas were broken (looked like from wind) - we could make them work if it wasn't too windy, otherwise we just rented at the beach. Also of note, there is no half bath (toilet) on the bottom floor (pool level) so you have to go up stairs. The grill needs to be cleaned, we used, but there were definitely flare ups and hot spots vs. cool spots. We might have preferred a bit more sun through all the shade surrounding the pool, but very nice pool. Staff was prompt when we had an issue with the disposal and pool was pretty dirty - but that was due to storms prior to us arriving, but they sent over a crew to clean it.

Pool is really amazing

"Big" family vacation. The pool and adjacent area was amazing, you could easily entertain 20 people if you wanted. The pool & hot tub temps were perfect and they cleaned it at least once during the week. The house was clean and each room was a nice size and I heard no complaints about beds etc. The balconies were all nice. The roof lookout was cool. Lots of pool toys left behind which we left some as well. Great location to an awesome beach and groceries. This house was very spendy , so I do have some expectations & recommendations for owner/management company. Make sure that the provided extras are taken care of and there. My son went and bought new ping pong paddles and balls because there was only one old paddle left and dented balls. The other games were fine. The beach equipment should all be thrown away and replaced/updated with new. (The neighbors had a new sweet looking wagon and beach equipment etc) The ones provided were old and rusty and broken. The pots/pans and knives etc were horrible, dull, warped and old. Those should be tossed every so often and replaced. Also the lazy Susan door was cobbled together from use and age. And the elevator never worked as other previous reviews stated. We are all fairly young and healthy so running up and down 3 flights of stairs was no issue, but no one with ambulatory issues would be able to stay here without that working. To be fair we never called to have it fixed. Bottomline, Its starting to look like a rental and its definitely in your budget and best interest to keep this propertyupdated. If applicable, the owner should visit and make sure their management company is doing a good job. These are easy fixes that need to be done with a house and pool of this caliber. I think a few bikes in garage would also be an easy and cheap upgrade. My family all want to stay here again. I would want those changes done if I were to return. Overall good rental and we had great time here.

Pool like no other!

This house was perfect for our three generation family vacation. The kids absolutely loved the pool, so much so that it was hard to get them away. Kitchen was well equipped. Great communication with management. Several broken lounge chairs, but they are in the process of replacing with new pieces.

Family Vacay 2021!

We arrived at this beautiful home and were like kids in a candy store!! We ran around exploring like crazy people then all jumped in the gorgeous pool!! The outside living area is the absolute bomb!! We had a couple of problems with the elevator which didn’t actually get resolved while we were there but not due to the Property Management Company, they were awesome! Our only suggestion would be maybe new pillows, the current ones are flat as pancakes! Maybe trim the palm trees back a little as the pool gets little to no sun! Our suggestion for future visitors, bug spray, bug spray and more bug spray!! Thank you for a wonderful week…..

Amazing home in a great location! Our group of 8 had plenty of space to spend together as well as spread out when wanted. Spent much time at Manatee Beach, a two minute walk! Had a few glitches at first but the property management company took care of us quickly. Agree with previous comments about the pool being chilly due to lack of sun, but the hot tub got hot quickly and warmed us right up. The outdoor kitchen and dining was fun to watch the Superbowl from :)

January Stay, Great Weather

We will probably come back again, nice place, close to beach. There are a couple of things I would like to see addressed. The sofas are terrible, especially as lly if you're older, uncomfortable. The kitchen needs larger, taller trash bins. The outdoor patio ceiling fan needs to be cleaned. When it spins, it is so dirty that stuff would fly off....not good when you're using the grill and eating on the patio. Some of the beach chairs are rushed through and broken. Trrrifin pool and spa area, couldn't get the kids to leave the pool.....

Anna Marie Island - It’s a Jungle out There

We enjoyed this house very much- especially the amazing pool! The added convenience of the elevator was wonderful for my parents. Rooms & beds were large & comfortable. I would suggest updated couches especially the one which the seat cushions would fall into the frame. Also burners on grill are badly rusted through & could be a fire hazard for future use. The master bedroom bathroom on the 3rd floor had some disintegration due to water saturation - the towel bar & lower near the bottom. Just those few things. But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there & hope to rent again!

Pool and hot tub was wonderful.

We would have loved to have a little more sunshine in the pool area. Clearing out just a couple trees might be nice. We all huddled in the area where the sun shined through.

Fantastic family vacation

Property was exactly as pictured. 6 adults and 4 kids (4-9) enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the fantastic pool area. House well appointed and conveniently located. The beach chairs and toys were a real bonus! We would love to return sometime!
