Check in was easy & we were shown our room & where everything was. We were asked what we wanted for breakfast & what time. The breakfast was very good & prompt including toast & either tea or coffee. The location is very central & within walking distance & has a car park which made things easier. The only downside which was beyond their control was the 17 weeks of roadworks nearby which confused the sat nav. Definitely would use again. The bed was also one of the comfiest I’ve slept in for a while.

The young lady who checked us in was very friendly and explained everything we needed to know. The room was beautifully presented, modern and clean. Breakfast was cooked to order and was perfect. We will definitely be visiting again.

Perfect for visiting Holmfirth

Lovely stay in the heart of Holmfirth. Nice big room at the front. Great breakfast although you only get the cooked breakfast at the weekend.

Room (above the pub) was really nice, very clean and super comfortable. Unfortunately for a business stay it wasn't practical that there were no dinner or breakfast options. Also no Wi-Fi available in the room so any work I had to do sat in the bar which isn't ideal. Very welcoming people and as I say the room was ideal. Just not for a business trip unfortunately.

Thoughts of a Scottish tourist

Room was excellent and roomy - hotel very central although Holm is a small town but gud variety of bars / entertainment Breakfast non existent as staff illness apparently Bit disappointed with no refund as had paid for breakfast Overall was surprisingly a very enjoyable weekend
