    The Space:

    Coles Cottage is a semi-detached cottage in Derriton, two miles from Holsworthy. The cottage has two doubles and a single bedroom upstairs, and on the ground floor is a room with a double sofa bed. There is a bathroom on the first floor. The cottage also offers a kitchen, utility, dining room and sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking for three cars, and a garden with patio and furniture. Coles Cottage is very well placed for enjoying the beaches at Bude, Bodmin Moor, Exmoor and Dartmoor.



    The Neighborhood:

    Holsworthy is a market town in Devon, in the lush greenery of Tarka country. Holsworthy has a selection of shops and pubs, a park and swimming pool, 18-hole golf course and plenty of fishing, cycling and walking in the surrounding countryside. Holsworthy is within easy reach of the sandy beaches at Bude, or the moors of Bodmin, Exmoor or Dartmoor.

Wir waren zu Siebt hier, 3 Erwachsene und 4 Teenager, das hat alles ganz wunderbar gepasst: ein charmantes Haus, eine nette Begrüßung mit frisch gebackenen Scones, im Kühlschrank Wasser und Milch, ein netter Brief vom Eigentümer und ein großes und sehr schönes Haus mit Garten. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Wonderful place for a family getaway.

We loved staying at Coles Cottage. The layout was ideal for our family situation and the fact that we have a very mobile infant with us who could play and run around happliy and safely in the house and enclosed garden. We were so lucky with the weather and were able to spend every evening outside having barbecues in the charming garden but we could all imagine it as a holiday location for any season. The house itself is very charming and homely - a proper cottage family home look and feel with the layout, decor etc. The tall ones had to mind their heads in a few places, but this is perfectly understandable in a period property such as this. It felt like a real escape, was a great place to convene as a family and we loved and enjoyed evey minute and would love to visit again.
