Great location, clean and perfectly equipped for our stay. Great host who responded to and resolved an issue with the bed immediately, going above and beyond our expectations. This cosy cottage backs onto Spout Hill which is great if you have a dog. It is only a short walk to local pubs and restaurants and is ideally positioned for local walks and is only short drive from Salthouse, Clay and Blakeney. Around a 25 min drive to Wells Next Sea Two good sized bedrooms , one with a double bed and the other with two singles. As with many cottages the bathroom is located downstairs . A great stay.

Absolutely wonderful. We will be putting in on our favourites list for the future. The cottage was super lovely and warm—at the end of the row, it was very quiet. It was perfectly clean with all the amenities needed. See you again soon!

Absolutely loved this little cottage and how close it is to Holt. Having spout hill on the doorstep for our pooch was brilliant. Really come away feeling like we had such a special family stay. Thanks for the treats!

Great property clean ,great location, especially right next door to spout hill for walking dog ,and right near holt town centre , The only thing i would suggest, i know it said no dogs on furniture( the sofa was leather ) but as a dog owner we know at home dogs go on our sofa,s !! some throw to put on the sofa a good idea , i always take them with me and old towels as well incase as i dont want the stress of worrying the dog might go on the sofa .

Great location

We loved staying here. Very clean and a great place to stay with our dogs. It is right next to Spout Hill which is a lovely place to walk the dogs. Easy to walk into Holt and visit other places via car. I told the host prior to our visit that we wanted to visit National Trust properties and she very kindly left out a NT handbook which I thought was a nice touch. The milk and cakes were also very welcome. We hope to return again.

Really enjoyed

Lovely cottage, clean and as described. The owners left a note and some cakes in the fridge so was a lovely touch. Perfect location to the town and also a beautiful dog walk on the doorstep!

Excellent cottage

Clean and well presented- everything needed for a comfortable stay. Should be noted that the back garden is a shared courtyard for those with dogs, but open parkland is on the doorstep.

Relaxing break

A nice cottage in a perfect location for strolling into Holt. Parking very good. Excellent dog walking area within 200 yards of the cottage at Spout Hill wildlife area. The cottage is tucked right in the corner at the end of the row, so gets no one walking past, and has a fairly private patio area for when it isn't quite so cold. The cottage has all you need, though we would have liked some shelving of some sort in the bathroom on which to put toiletries etc. A minor point but It would have helped. It was however a nice wet room, albeit on the ground floor. The heating system was also very efficient and easy to control. Overall a very nice stay in an ideal location.

Lovely cottage in holt

Great for dog walks being right on the hills and near the old railway line. Very kind to have left milk and cakes which were useful to get us started. Worked well for a short stay. Property was clean but would suggest a bit of attention to the grouting in the shower room which was starting to get a bit of mold.

Great little cottage. Quiet but 2 mins walk to Holt high st. Great area to walk dogs right behind the house. Everything we needed was there. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely clean dog friendly cottage, in a quiet location right next to Sprouts hill for walking the dog but only a 3/4 min walk to the centre of Holt with plenty of shops & places to eat & drink, highly recommended this accommodation

Cosy but not clean

Sadly-all the dishes we used needed to be washed first as they were filthy. The floor wasn’t clean and the cushions on the sofas had stains. It was disappointing and really unfortunate, we were happy to leave.

Lovely stay!

What a lovely little cottage so close to the centre of Holt. Perfect to bring your dog too with Spout Hill on your doorstep. We will most definitely be back!

Perfect weekend
