"Room was clean a little dated and the pillows were poor, staff very friendly and breakfast was good quality spar was lovely and relaxed well worth a visit .Overall was very good apart from the very poor quality pillows."

"A lot of noise made sleep tricky - the mini bar fridge was super loud, the announcements from the station next door, and TVs from other rooms. No climate control so keeping the room at a comfortable temperature was tricky. Staff on the check-in desk were checked out, not particularly welcoming. However, bed was really comfortable, it's nice to have a bath and there is a lot to do near by. I didn't have breakfast, so no idea if it's good."

"Henry was great checking us in. Room was great. Spacious enough with sink, fridge and coffee making. Bathroom good and nice molton brown toiletries, good shower. Good WiFi and would definitely recommend. Nice welcoming staff. "

"uncomfortable bed, thin duvet and noisy air con fan kept me awake even on its lowest settings. plus note the breakfast was very good but at the price I paid I won't be staying again "

"No on site parking but lots on secure parking options within 10 min walk Lovley big room and all soft drinks in mini bar are free which was a nice touch. Great location for sightseeing, concerts Breafast was very good value "

"Pet charge was £25 with treats water bottle poo bags and water dish near to city centre & opposite train station plenty shops and bars around hotel bar was expensive "

"We had two seperate stays. The first was on the fifth floor in a room that was not updated and rather dismal. There was a metal window or door banging on the second night that work is up, went unresolved and meant we need to get key to another room to get sleep. Second stay was a single night on third floor in updated room at back of hotel. Nice. No banging. Location is great near train station. History and lobby are interesting. Staff were good and professional "
