Excellent B and B which is well worth a stay while in Homer. Owner Michael is wonderful giving great suggestions for area restaurants and fun things to do. Definitely will be back!

Mike is an amazing host and he is an expert of the area. Breakfast is always delicious and plentiful. The property is beautiful with large and spacious rooms. All rooms have the wonderful view of the glacier. We shall come back one day!

Mike was very helpful and told us about the glaciers that we could see out his front door. The views were excellent of the bay and glaciers when it was clear out. It was very nice to sit by the kitchen table with Mike and discuss the area as it was all new to us.

The owner was friendly and very helpful, making recommendations. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the view was amazing. Very peaceful for a weekend break.

Michael was one the best hosts we've had TY o deal with. From moment we walked in, he was friendly and very helpful pointing out places to eat, viewing spots and hiking. Having been there 33 years, he knows a lot about the area. The view from any room is phenomenal as you are high up and can see across the bay to view glaciers and mountains. I highly recommend The Good Karma.

We loved our time at the Good Karma Inn. Michael, the owner, was very thoughtful and kind. We felt very welcome in his lovely inn. We enjoyed talking with him and he made us delicious breakfasts, dinner reservations and offered advice about how to enjoy Homer. The scenery and setting of the Good Karma Inn are extraordinary, and it was a pleasure to come back in the evening and enjoy the view of the mountains and the glaciers from the deck. We hope to return one day.

The property is in a beautiful natural location overlooking the bay and surrounding mountains from a slight elevation. Spectacular views were enjoyed from the room and attached deck. The resident flock of sandhill cranes are wonderful to watch. The owner/host was extremely helpful in getting reservations at the last minute for a restaurant and water taxi. His idea for a local day hike to a nearby glacier lake was a highlight of our Alaskan vacation.

This is a beautiful custom log home, with exceptional views of Kachemak Bay. Its wonderfully quiet and peaceful with only 4 units. The wonderful work of local artists, are displayed throughout the property. Michael is an engaging host and cooks a hearty breakfast.
The only comment I have is, the mattresses could use an update.

Great view of Kachemak Bay and Homer Spit. Across the bay mountains, ice fields and glaciers. Tons of wildlife on site and nearby. Staff is outgoing, friendly and knowledgeable of the area.
The drive from Anchorage or Seward is long with limited cellphone coverage. Notification of anticipated arrival time to staff is highly recommended.

The property is beautiful and is the perfect place to recharge after a busy day in Homer. The views are magnificent, the rooms are big, comfortable and inviting, the home decor is stunning and the host makes the stay the best experience possible.

Beautiful Stay
Great Accommodations… phenomenal views. Wildlife all around saw sandhill cranes moose (one with two newborns) right outside our window. Dog friendly and relaxed setting!

It is an excellent property. The owner takes a lot of pride in his facility and is always available if needed. Our family greatly enjoyed our stay. We felt as comfortable as being home, but in a better location. The owner provided us with excellent tips about the area (including where to dine). He was spot on! I highly recommend the Good Karma Inn!

Our favorite lodging in Alaska!!
Photos can’t describe the amazing view from the deck of each room from this inn! Michael is warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and generous. We loved our time here and hope to return soon!
