Perfect Tahoe Cabin

This property was exactly what we needed for our family of 5, with three small children. Although small, the cabin is charming and had everything we needed. The location was also perfect! Thanks for the gift of a week of wonderful family memories!

Adorable Cottage

We rent this adorable cottage for a couple weeks every summer. My family always feels so comfy and cozy here. We love the neighborhood and access to Chamberlands private beach club. Great hiking trails within walking distance. Looking forward to visiting again next summer!!!

Great location, great cabin, not very well kept

Great location, beautiful cabin but this rental is not very well taken care of. Kitchen lacks basic things like a tea kettle, wooden spoons or a can opener, pots and pans are in poor condition, oven emitted a toxic chemical smell whenever turned on. Rental agency did not clear deck or stairs from old snow and ice, making the deck unusable and the stairs a slippery hazard. The heater in the bathroom was broken and the smoke detector needed new batteries upon our arrival. Management agency didn't seem to care about the feedback.

Beautiful Cozy Place, Great Location

We loved our time in this cabin. Family of 4 + grandpa and we all had plenty of room. We went to teach our kids how to ski and take a nice long relaxing weekend. This cabin was perfect for that. Do be aware of the bear fence and it's a little icy in the winter, other than that, fully stocked kitchen and plenty of meals were cooked.

Quaint A Frame is A+

We hit perfect timing in December right after the fresh snowfall. All I wanted was a getaway in the winter so my 4 year old could enjoy his 1st time in the snow. He loved the place and so did we. The place can accommodate easily up to 7 even though it was just 3 of us. We had everything we needed to just enjoy a quiet weekend away and a nice drive going into town for coffee, restaurants and stores. Place is tidy and privately facing the woods from the living room. Bring your own logs if you want to use the fireplace which is worth it. The cabin had so much snow on the patio we were able to make snowmen. Overall great stay :)

Feliz por la atención la cabaña es muy cómoda son muy atentos no te molestan Tiene una vista a la terraza fenomenal y más cuando cae nieve los muebles están en buenas condiciones Sólo Las cobijas se deberían de reemplazar todo huele bien toallas limpias si me preguntan si volveré SI. Les recomiendo No se arrepentirán

Delighted at Daisy's Delight

Loved the location of this property, nestled in the forests of Tahoe and close to the water and surrounding State and National Forests and hiking trails. Charming house with everything needed for a great vacation!

Beautiful cabin

The cabin is fantastic, spacious and well provided for (alert from dishwasher liquid). It is warm and cosy in the evening, bright and light in the daytime with lots of big windows. Great location, very quiet. Our only criticism is the circular staircase in the livingroom which has very sharp unprotected edges, as I found out when I hit my head against it by mistake - very bad cut on the top of my head. Apart from that we really enjoyed our stay.

Cute cabin but not for the winter!

We just stayed in Roger's Retreat for President's Day weekend. Though it is a very cute cabin, it is set very far back off the street and has a very long driveway. We had two storms come through that dumped about a foot and a half of snow. Luckily my son and I were able to shovel the driveway, because the plow driver who is contracted to plow the driveway, never showed up. I agree with the review below~ it does need new mattresses as well. For winter months, this is definitely a cabin for fit people who don't mind shoveling snow.

Perfect!

It was a perfect place for us to spend these holidays together as a family !!!! New mattresses and pillows would be very appreciated ! Beautiful cabin !!!!!!!
