It is at a very convenient location, with Red Lobster across the street and a ABC store at the corner. The bus stop is within 5 minutes' walk. The Ala Moana shopping center and beach is also within walking distance. This is a very convenient location.

The hotel is quite tired, but it is clean and the staff are extremely friendly. The lanai bar and cafe is a lovely spot to eat, drink and relax.

The hotel itself was excellent exactly what I wanted not in the Waikiki area a little more off the beaten path close to beaches shopping food Etc. The welcoming and front desk staff were wonderful. Housekeeping on the other hand needs remedial work. Six out of 10 days they didn't even make our bed. Didn't replace toilet paper so we had to use tissues. When they did bring us more toilet paper on the next visit they put it up on the shelf and didn't fill the empty roll. We found wadded up receipts from 2 days before we arrived on the floor aside the bed, indicating to me that the room had never been vacuumed. They have a coffee machine in the room and refilled the coffee the first three days, but didn't refill it after day three so day three through 10 we had to go out and buy our own coffee. The bathroom floor was never swept or washed in the time we were there, and the bathroom shower and bathroom sink were never wiped down during our whole 10-day stay. This could be a great place if they get their housekeeping up to Snuff.

I have stayed here 5 times in the past and always loved the small boutique. I even recommended it to others, but this time it seemed like a low-budget motel. The bathroom was dirty, and there was sand in the shower on day 1. We complained, and then it was cleaned on day 2. After we came back from being out all day on Day 3, we came back and it looked like someone had been lying in our bed after it was made. I told the front desk and she said, "I was just lucky to be able to come to Hawaii because not everyone is as fortunate", and said she would let the boss know. The parking was difficult this time also because if you don't get there by 6 pm, they make you park in the condo parking lot next door. Just inconvenient and time wasted for all these things. I have always been able to park in their spots, but now they oversell spots and it's impossible to park with a line of cars in front of the parking spots. I tried but didn't want to scratch my car or anyone else's. Their answer to this was, "Oh, you don't know how to back into park?" I said yes I do, but I can't curve in if there is a car in front of me too. There was no boss to talk to, but the lady in the morning returned our last two nights' parking, and we had to find parking elsewhere. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed and won't be returning or suggesting this hotel anymore.

This is one of the last Kama'aina owned hotel. Older but so much charm. Pub food with coffee and limited breakfast options. Everything is really tasty. Lincoln and the rest of the staff were so wonderful to us. We felt like family not customers. Right next to the Marina, walking distance to tons of shopping. Close to Queen's medical. This is my new go to hotel when staying overnight after getting healthcare. This is the 3rd hotel I have tried in this price range for overnight stays. This by far the best one. Smaller pool right nest to the bar and pub food. So well thought out. Just loved the place.

This hotel is wonderfully no-nonsense! While you won't have a five-star spa and Michelin-starred room service on property, it's clean and comfortable with basic modern amenities (WiFi, cable, parking) and the staff are courteous. The decor is unique, the bar & cafe at the pool has a good variety of drinks and fare. The pool is crystal clear, albeit cold (it's not heated and because the buildings are close to each other, the sun doesn't hit it). Shell out the extra dough and get a suite with a balcony or on a higher floor.
