“Our gathering brought back together 2 exchange students (we hosted back in 1997-98) and their own families and our 2 daughters and their families, totaling 18 persons. they all came from CA, Brazil, CO, NY and right here in RI. The house was a huge hit! Everything was as described online. More than enough of the kitchen and bathroom essentials. The young kids in our group enjoyed the yard and the carriage house. we brought plenty of things for all ages to do as well as what was at the house……

“The house had a deck with the woods behind. Deer came out in the morning. Great fire pit and hammock in the back also. Pictures are accurate. Great proximity to Newport. Nice quiet spot for a relaxing evening after going to Newport. Jamestown has great restaurants and is a very nice old town. I would say be aware that there is a spiral staircase that some people might have a problem navigating. We did not. Property owner was very responsive and nice. We would come back.”

“The house is absolutely beautiful! The deck overlooking the river took everyone’s breath away. It was a perfect stay. Lots of room in the house. Clean and cozy. 15 minutes from Mohegan Sun. There’s not a lot of condiments to cook/eat with which is totally fine, really just a heads up to bring your own pepper, ketchup, etc. We would 10/10 recommend this place. ”
