“We had a great 3-night visit to the Lighthouse. The house was well equipped and ready for our arrival to just settle in and relax. Easy walk to the beach and wildlife to view right off the back deck including deer, rabbits a racoon and coyote. Thank you to the hosts for a pleasant home away from home.”

“The outdoor spa tub was broken, the water in it was full of garbage (the kids were disappointed), there was no ping pong table like in the photo, the curtains in the living room were dirty, there was no laundry detergent (had to call for delivery) and not enough quilts ( Had to call for delivery), mice were running from the ceiling at night.”

“The location of this house is stunning. It's on a peninsula that sticks out in to Clear Lake, and then it itself is on its own little rocky promontory that sticks out from the peninsula. The house is about 50 feet up from the lake. The upshot of this is that you get an amazing view of the lake from sunrise to sunset, and due to it sticking out to the lake a bit, a lot of the local birds use the updraft it creates. The bird life is fantastic! We saw Bald Eagles, an Osprey, a Red-tailed Hawk, a……

“This beautifully-aged classic house must be one of the originals. It has definitely stood the test of time, and has been well-maintained and restored over the years. The view out over the ocean from the open-beamed living room, while enjoying a glass of wine in front of a gently crackling fire, evokes the spirit of the best of Sea Ranch. The house comes very well stocked, especially the kitchen, where a good cook can feel right at home. Truly a delightful place to spend a few relaxing days.”

“We had the opportunity to stay at this amazing house with my family and friends for our 4th annual fishing trip. The house had everything we needed to accommodate 5 adults and 3 kids. The location probably cannot get any better than that. It’s located right next to the opening of main lake access. Fish is jumping everywhere. We brought 4 bass boats and the house had parking for our truck and trailers as well as a big boat dock to fit all the boats too. Highly recommended and we hope to stay……

“The house is lovey! When we arrived they had not warmed the home it was quite cold inside. The jacuzzi never worked even after we called and Jake came out and assured us he was familiar with the issue! The water remained frigid and the jacuzzi was unusable. Jake was a very nice guy but still no jacuzzi. There were also spider webs in some cabinets and windows.”

“The property is set on a picturesque spot in SeaRanch. Beautiful ocean views. The home itself has lots of nice and unexpected touches (amazing water pressure, oyster knife, dog blankets). It also had a few cost reducing pieces that ranked it down a notch for me (one ply toilet paper and paper towels, super thin cloth towels). We did have an issue with wet towels upon arrival and the property management remedied it within the first 24 hours of our stay. The outdoor space was very useful and……

“This home is stunning and exceeded our expectations. Views are amazing from the home and the walk to the cliff is perhaps 2 minutes and the beach just a few minutes more. The area is serene and at most you see a few joggers or a couple other people hiking. The office was a perfect place to take a few morning calls before a lovely breakfast on the beach. We didn’t cook a full meal (we picked up chowder and crab sandwiches in Bodega Bay to bring up with us), but the kitchen was well appointed……

“The house and location are excellent, quite comfortable and well equipped with easy acces to wonderful beaches. The house host is EXTREMELY considerate and polite. My ONLY negative, which is no hindrance to a return visit, and accounts for the 4 star rating on "accuracy of online listing" is that the accompanying photograph suggests an on-the-bluff location and view for this "ocean view home". Such a view does not exist from this home. A more accurate photograph is recommended. G.S.”

“We had a great experience at Fitch Mountain Lookout. The home has a great view, is a short walk downhill to the river, and only a short drive to town. We most enjoyed watching the birds come to the feeders in the morning while we started our day in the hot tub!”

“Our group absolutely raved about the property and the hospitality during our stay. The location is also a great starting point for tastings in both Sonoma and Napa. The tasting at Reeve was delightful and we added on a chef dinner in the villa which was such a fun way to end the trip.”

“Very nice property. From the instructions, it seems as if the renters had bad experiences in the past, which is really sad. The rental was very clean, location spectacular, truly million dollar views. We had a wonderful time. We hope that future renters can respect their property as their own so that the warnings don't have to seem so restrictive and negative. This is a lovely place and should be treated as such.”
