Every detail was perfectly thought through, and the entire place has such a calm, relaxing atmosphere.the breakfast was also superb and overall i would highly recommend Burton Lodge ”

“Great little cottage in a lovely area, minutes from the beach. Great communication. Met all our needs, kitchen well supplied with all we needed. Cosy sofa and bed. Shame we couldn't use the courtyard but were told by a lady there that it was a private courtyard that she owned. She was quite rude. Did not put us off our holiday though. Will definitely book again.”

“I booked the Maze Apartments because it was so close to the venue for the Campfire Country Music Festival and it was spot on. Being only 5 mins walk to the park was great! When we arrived we got a parking spot in the car park under the Apartments and it was FREE! The lady on reception was nice and friendly and advised us we had been given an upgrade!! The room was great. Large, spacious with all the amenities you could need. The bathroom was small but clean with a shower, basin and toilet. The……

“Clean tidy room, nice and cosy, bedding clean, towels provided, bottles of water in the room along with tea, coffee etc. The host,Donna was lovely, nothing too much trouble for her. Easy check in. Breakfast was good, nice variety. We had a parking spot at the property. Easy walk in to town. Overall a lovely 2 day stay, will definitely be returning.”

“I will never stay at a one of these properties again. The room was fine but the staff at reception was rude and unhelpful. It was booked prepaid with Hotels.com to which they said it was not prepaid even after showing the receipt to her. We chose to have diner there as we were tired. At least 1/3 of the tables were covered in dirty dishes. We eventually were able to flag a server down to give our order for food and drinks. Food arrived which was actually well done but never got our drinks even……

“The lodge and location was outstanding. Situated on Heron Lakes looking across one of the 6 lakes on site with stunning views. Great location to get to the coast and plenty to do on site with walked, bike trails and of course fishing! Great short break away and will be staying here again. Thanks for a great experience throughout Lisa!”
