If surfing is your thing, Hot Water Beach offers some of the best waves on the Coromandel Peninsula. The house itself is designed for both indoor and outdoor living and any weather. It is surrounded by decking with views of the beach, and outdoor BBQ and dining. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine or beer looking across to the white sand and blue waters of Hot Water Beach, Castle Island and Mercury Bay. Feeling hot? Just head across the road for a swim. Otherwise, backyard cricket or just soaking up the sun with a good book are great options.
The living quarters comprise a large open space containing the living, dining and kitchen areas. The living space can be completely opened up, so you feel like you are right on the beach, even when inside. The house has a UHD TV, mobile broadband and wi-fi, Freeview and a Sonos sound system. The kitchen is fully appointed, with a microwave, dishwasher and industrial style coffee maker.
The sleeping quarters have 3 double bedrooms (one with two single beds) and a bunkroom that sleeps 6. For cooler times, the house is fully insulated, has a heat pump and fireplace in the living quarters and heaters in each bedroom.
