Our stay at SpringHill was unfortunately below expectations. From the moment we walked into the room, there was a horrible odor that lingered throughout our entire visit. We reported it a couple of times, but nothing was done to resolve the issue.
To make matters worse, we had an issue with the toilet that we had to unclog ourselves—something no guest should have to deal with.
The mattress was extremely firm and uncomfortable, which made for restless nights. There was also no clear communication that daily housekeeping had to be requested in advance. That lack of instruction left us with overflowing trash and unmade beds.
Overall, this was far from one of my favorite hotel stays. “Average” would be generous. I expected better from a brand like SpringHill, especially when booking through Expedia.
