This house is so fun and beautiful! The game room was a hit for all ages, and there was plenty of space to cook, eat, and alread out. We barely went outside or explored the area because the house was entertaining enough! The host was very communicative and accommodating. Excited to come back in the summer!

What an Amazing Place

Fantastic Retro Stay!

The house and property are amazing. We had four adults and four children on our trip. The house is huge so there is plenty of space for everyone. The place feels like its right out of the Brady Bunch, in a good way. Would definitely book this property again.

Family gathering

Our family was all able make the drive from southern Il, central Il, and northern Il to meet with family who live near this property. Our first time all together in one place in years! Plenty of space for everyone and then some! We got to see the area covered in beautiful snow fall. Would love to see the area again in the summer time. The game room was a big hit too!

Very cool MCM home. Larger, open areas on 3 levels. Open loft space. Great house for families with older children due to open staircases and steps between levels. Home sits on steep hilly area with ravines. Beautiful views from floor to ceiling windows. Large kitchen with lots of windows and space at massive island.

Stunning Home for Families

My family of five and my sister-in-law‘s family of five stayed here for a long weekend and had an absolute blast! Got the kids into the woods for hours at a time, and plenty for them to do when it got too cold inside. There are several TVs, a pool table, an arcade, darts, the list goes on. Not to mention the deer running by every few minutes! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the host was responsive to every need. 10 out of 10 recommend

The home was very clean and had really nice large spaces. it worked quite well for our family of 8 adults and 2 small children. we had a lot of room to spread out for our Christmas celebration and the owner provided not one but three Christmas trees along with additional decorations. There were two deer that hung around the property which we were able to observe through the plentiful windows. only downsides were one top heavy sectional in the living room, which lead to some thrilling moments, and I was a little disappointed that both fireplaces weren't functional.My wife and I slept in the loft. A great space with a very unique bathroom. unfortunately, since it was open to the living room, the toddlers woke us up pretty early in the morning. But, overall, we had a great time!

The home was clean and well maintained. The views are stunning and the home offers a truly unique experience. The room proportions offered the perfect atmosphere for our group. We were disappointed that there was only partial rolls of toilet paper and 3 extra rolls for the booked 8 women for the whole weekend. The furnace also continuously reverted back to 52 degrees overnight and 62 in the day. We had to reset the thermostat to 67 every 4 hours to maintain a tolerable temperature. One other note- the "safety" mat in the top level shower no longer sticks to the tile and is EXTREEMLY slippery and slides when it is stepped on.

Retro retreat

Very clean, spacious property. Worked out well for us and our grown children and grandchildren. A couple of issues I will mention are no extra linens or towels were provided. Only what was out on the bed and one towel per person, which with young children could become an issue. The biggest thing we noticed was the lack of smoke or carbon monoxide detectors. Not one that we could find. Not sure how this can be possible for a property that is clearly used as a business. If not for those things, we would stay again.
