Fantastic Getaway

We enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and well equipped to meet all our needs. The view was amazing so we spent lots of time on the deck. We also enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. It would have been even better if kayaks were available. All in all it is a terrific place and we love that it is pet friendly! We hope to return.

Gorgeous views

We had a fantastic stay at Out Point of View. Plenty of room for our family of 5 and our 2 dogs. We enjoyed the ping pong table and the hot tub. The views from the top porch were amazing. We all enjoyed swimming from the dock. We would love to stay again in the future.

A birthday stay

My wife was celebrating her birthday and we invited a couple of family members to enjoy a quiet vacation with us. The home was perfect for what we needed and offered a great view, spacious accommodations, and peace and quiet.

A Wonderful Retreat

The view from the grand room is just wonderful. The lake is pristine - not an exaggeration. The property is super clean, all feature descriptions are accurate and the owner is very responsive. This was our first visit to Smith Mountain Lake - a real jewel. I hope to come back.

Fantastic Property

Spent a week here with my husband and two dogs. Beautiful views, peaceful house/property. Only word of caution would be the stair climb from the water/boat dock to the main floor of the home (there are a lot). All in all, great place to stay.

A million dollar view (plus!)

We loved the view and the stairway down to the water was a perfect setting for our youngest son's high school graduation ceremony. The hot tub was a nice touch for all to enjoy. The house was very clean and comfortable and was excellent for our four adult children to have their own space (and us, too!) We will stay here again if ever in the area. We highly recommend this property!!!

Well-appointed home with a wonderful view

Comfort is priority in this home with enough seating for all guests in both indoor gathering areas and on multiple decks. Kitchen has everything you need (except a good corkscrew 🤣), beds are comfy and steps to the water are interspersed with pathways to ease the walk down the steep hillside. As posted photos show, the view is beautiful. A rental boat is a must!

Fall Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Our point Of View, and what a view it is!! Wether your inside, outside or relaxing in the hot tub the view is wonderful. It was especially memorable when the fog rolled in one morning over the dam and mountain and then receded back and was gone. Not something you see every day. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home!!
