We were in contact before the stay and the owner was so very helpful! The property was very clean and larger enough for our group!
There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen that we were able to make all of our meals for the weekend.
The toys supplied for the kiddos were great, giving them plenty to do!
House had ample room for our needs - large table for playing cards and games, open kitchen and living room, four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Quiet neighborhood. We had a great time!
A nice remote location for a fun golf trip for 8. Host communicated well with us, and the updated basement is nice. Good location to some solid golf courses and restaurants in the Hudson and Stillwater area. Good space to play games as well, and the TV was a nice touch to watch just about anything. I would stay there again!
The house was nice and the owner was very thoughtful in leaving muffins upon arrival and chocolates on the beds. Nice touches! The location was great being close to Hudson, WI and Stillwater, MN.
Greeted with muffins and fresh flowers! We had a small girls weekend and there was more than enough room for everyone. Lots of towels and extra blankets. We had reservations in both New Richmond and Hudson, the drive time between both was maybe 10 minutes from the house so VERY convenient location! Would definitely stay here again.
Large home with plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms for the whole family. Clean and neat, enjoyed the huge TV in the living room as well. We would love to return next year if we can still handle the steps. Thanks so much for hosting us!
Nice location and clean but the house is very cheaply built
3 of us stayed and the property is clean and well maintained. The house it's self appears to be a few years old and was cheaply built. You can here people in the next room and bathrooms are kind of strange. We would certainly stay again.
Pretty wooded setting for this roomy getaway spot. Comfy furniture, quiet neighborhood and nice little coffee bar. Just needs some more curtains/blinds in some of the rooms. And more than one TV would be nice. Lots of space, and items for families with babies and children.
We had a great friend’s weekend celebrating a friend who’s getting married! Great open space for games and hanging out and just close enough to get into Stillwater to explore! The only thing that would’ve been nice and didn’t really impact our experience was having towels out in the bathrooms ready for us to use. We had to search for them initially.
We enjoyed our stay alot. It was very clean and our host responded within a short time. The only thing negative is we did feel there should have been more items in the house for use. One main thing is there were no window coverings in the one bedroom, mainly just to keep the brightness out for sleeping in the morning.
This was the perfect option for three adult couples to spend a relaxing weekend get together. Three bedrooms with queen beds and three bathrooms meant we all had private space plus a large, open great room to hang out together. Easy access to Stillwater, Hudson, Willow River St Park, and more to keep busy. Privacy and quiet when you just want to relax around the firepit. All less than an hour from the Twin Cities. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely time. The house was comfortable and perfect for spending time in the kitchen and visiting with friends.
The only complaint was the kitchen was pretty sparse, having some extra conveniences such as baking sheets, wine glasses, plastic wrap and tin foil would have be really nice. Also the kitchen faucet sprays all over the place which was annoying, but not the end of the world.
Our weekend was just for the us ladies. We enjoyed having enough bedrooms and bathrooms as not to feel overcrowded sharing. The open concept kitchen, dining and living area was great because we mainly spent our time at the oversized table playing Bunco, cribbage and a variety of other games and the space didn’t make us feel closed in. We are super close to Willow River State Park and spent a couple hours there enjoying the Falls. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty.
The kitchen was adequately equipped, but there were no extras to support cooking on the premises such as spices, tin foil, etc. Hand soap was available in the bathrooms, but no shampoo or bodywash / body soap was provided. I don't usually travel with soap for showering so that was problematic. Some areas of the home were in disrepair. One kitchen cupboard door was unhinged, ceiling cut out of one bathroom to access plumbing and sawdust continually fell from this hole landing on the bathroom sink and counter. One post for the hand rail exiting the front door was loose. The floor plan and bedroom configuration was nice and comfortable. It is definitely a country home. Very quiet. About a 15 minute drive into Hudson. Fire pit was lovely. In all, we enjoyed our stay.

The kitchen lacked several items but luckily we came prepared because we knew we were planning on eating together. The towels were a little rough, however they were thick towels. Lots of space in the bedrooms and the bathrooms. The house was nice and clean. Disappointed that it had a fireplace, but a note hung on it saying not to use it. (It was below freezing outside and had snowed.)
Lovely home, muffins, fresh flowers and chocolates on the bed is a nice touch. Lighting in most rooms, especially bedrooms is not bright enough to read bedside.
We had problems getting in but owner was on it within minutes. I would recommend it as a comfortable option for the proximity to Hudson (great downtown area) and Stillwater.
The house was in a good location for a girls weekend in Stillwater. The house was very clean and spacious with good amenities. Muffins were waiting for us, as well as little chocolates on each bed - cute welcoming additions. The host responded very quickly. The only issue was there are no curtains in the house. It felt very uncomfortable, and a little scary, trying to enjoy the evening with a wide open patio door/window that people could see into. Also changing in bedrooms with no curtains was uncomfortable - some changed in a closet because of this. Very easy fix to make it a 5 star rental for sure!

Overall it was nice, where was the "Hot Tub"?
The house was nice, quite country for sure. Location between Hudson, Stillwater and New Richmond gave you many options for shopping and eating. Big backyard fire pit which we would have used for sure if weather was a little nicer since the living room fireplace was NOT to be used. The listing said there was a HOT TUB? we didn't find one.
As a home owner the low effort things that need to be fixed at this property are,
Window treatments in bedrooms and bathroom,
fix the flush valves in upstairs toilets.
The bedroom lighting is not sufficient as nightstand and lamp would be nice. We used our cooler for a night stand.
A shower caddy so you don't have to place your soap and shampoo on the floor when showering. Especially in the master bedrooms small shower.
All small things. Overall the house was nice for our family group of 8 and better than a similarly price hotel.
