Chalet rental **** for 10 people, Non Smoking, apartment located in a chalet in the center of the Alpe d'Huez resort, located less than 100m from the ski slopes and 50 meters from shops, swimming pool, ice rink, sports hall...
Apartment with an area of 120 m2 with 5 bedrooms, including 2 sleeping areas, kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 bathrooms with bathtub, 1 bathroom with shower, 3 separate toilets.
It is not necessary to have a vehicle because the chalet is located in the center of Alpe d'Huez, with all shops nearby (bakery, food, press, ski rental, swimming pool, ice rink, palace des Sports…) and Shuttle stop in front of the chalet.
For those who prefer covered parking in front of the chalet. (7 € /day)

The chalet is 100 m from the slopes, in the morning you can simply let yourself slide with your children on a gentle slope which takes you in less than 5 minutes, straight to the kindergarten and the school assembly. Alpe d'Huez skiing.

Accommodation is ideally located, within a short walk of the slopes, free bus or cage lifts. A supermarket is just over the road, lot's of nearby shops and restaurants. We were a party of 6, so we had plenty of room. Kitchen was well equipped and the hosts lived above the accommodation so were always on hand for help or advice.

Perfect base in heart of resort

This is a great property located in the heart of the resort very close to bars, restaurants, supermarkets, the swimming pool and ice rink. The accommodation itself was perfect for our group of two families (3 adults, 4 teenagers and an eight year old). The kitchen was very well equipped and included a washing machine and dryer also. As has been mentioned in other reviews it should be noted that the two bunk rooms do not have a door. This was no problem for our group as these areas were used by children. It's also worth noting that the accommodation essentially has three front doors but during our stay we kept the two side entrances locked and only used the door off the corridor from the kitchen as our main entrance which certainly provided some additional privacy to the bunk room located away from the kitchen corridor. The property hosts were very friendly and approachable and the check in/out process was seamless as they were on hand and actually live above the chalet. It was a 10 minute walk to the top of resort (Grandes Rousses) and the Pic Blanc (previously DMC) main lifts or equally a 5 minute walk to the Rifnel where you can easily ski down to the Bergers area with quick access to Marmottes 1,2,3 main artery. I would thoroughly recommend this property for a larger group looking to share.

Excellent well located accommodation.

Near ski lifts, and town centre. Quiet. clean, well maintained. Kitchen (and accommodation generally) very well equipped. Plenty of crockery unlike many chalets we have used. Shops close by for morning bread. Layout unusual (on listing). No problem. It worked well for us as a family and we had a great holiday with good accommodation. Owners helpful and welcoming. All 5 stars.

Great stay at Chalet Le Cheval Blanc

Perfectly positioned chalet in the heart of Alpe d’Huez close to all the restaurants and swimming pool/ice rink. Hosts always available and helpful. Kitchen has everything you need. Less than 5 mins’ walk to basket lift which drops you at foot of main slopes. WiFi not brilliant but otherwise a great value chalet.

Zeer leuk verblijf!

Perfect Spot

The property was lovely and very well presented with everything you need. My only adjustment to the listing would be to advise that the bunk rooms are designed for children and there are no doors on these rooms. We were 8 adults and 1 child and had an adult in each bunk room, which we managed but wasn't ideal for privacy. We did enjoy our stay at Coeval Blanche and highly recommend to anyone wishing to self cater in ALPE D'HUEZ.
