“My husband and I stayed here for our Anniversary. It was absolutely perfect! Quiet, lakefront setting, Rocking chairs on the covered porch, a bonfire with new friends every night and a wonderful bar on site to enjoy an old fashioned drink. We reserved a suite that had a lake view and exuded a timeless comfort. The owners were right there on site and so welcoming, including offering a small breakfast every morning. They even recommended some great restaurants nearby for dinner. Birch Lodge……

“My husband and I had a perfect Valentine’s getaway here! The host was so friendly and incredibly quick with informative replies. The location is unbeatable—just one street from the snowmobile trails and close to gas and town. We had zero issues parking our truck and 28ft trailer, which was a huge plus. The house was so cozy; after long chilly days on the snowmobile trails, the extra blankets and the surprise boot/glove dryers were total lifesavers! “Simple and clean, but the idea that this sleeps 4 is really pushing it. There was only 2 of us, so it was ok, but the “couch” is a cubicle type couch that opens in to what can roughly be called a double bed. There were no sheets for it, but the owner did respond right away and brought one flat sheet. He told us fitted sheets don’t fit the couch. It’s a decent place, but we stayed in 3 other places for much less that were much better. This is not worth what they charge a night.”

“Property was pretty well equipped; except as guest we were expected to do dishes but neither towels or dishcloths were provided. The master bed, although fairly comfortable, was a little wobbly on metal frames (?).We couldn’t figure out the bed in the main living area. I suppose it was suppose to double as a trundle/day bed but it was very uncomfortable to relax on. It never folded completely flat so it couldn’t be used for seating. Otherwise we enjoyed the fire rings and relaxing on the front……

“Property was nice. It was surface level clean. There was pretty severe obvious water damage in both bathrooms with visible mold. As a family that needs to be careful around mold, seeing this was disappointing. It was a comfortable house, dated, but comfortable. Lots of space for a family. Close to main attractions. One thing to note, there are close neighbors, so if you are looking for space/ seclusion, this house does have close neighbors you will hear their dogs/lawn mowers / leaf blowers.……
