Beautiful view but, not worth the money

I have a lot to say but, honestly not worth my energy. Let’s say I spoke to the manger and owner and it was all talk from both! I had to come on vacation to buy products for cleaning and for pest control!

Not worth it

The place had ants, roaches, puddles by windows and doors. Cleanliness is very poor, mildew in shower, had to buy cleaning products to clean and to kill ants and roaches. Very outdated place for Palmas Del Mar and the overall place was not orth my money. Very disappointed

Perfect vacation spot

The place was as described and everything worked out great for us. The location was perfect and allowed us to feel secure while also accessible. The host was responsive when we thought we had an issue and was willing to make some accommodations that helped our stay. Only advice for travelers is have a good food plan. We are use to delivery or having a corner store/ deli/ coffee shop within a 5 min walk. That was not really an option here where driving to the closest places was needed and no one seemed to deliver. All the local restaurant were incredible but service was slow a few times so not having a breakfast plan for hungry toddlers and parents was a challenge. We opted to stock the kitchen for breakfast in the end. Also if you plan to stay within the Palmas Del Mar resort, rent a golf cart instead of a car!

Cozy place

It was beautiful and just as pictured- and very large! We loved the beach nearby as it was not crowded and gorgeous. The only thing is they are doing construction on the unit next door and started at 730 am.

Perfection!

We travelled to Humacao with a group who stayed nearby in a larger house. We wanted our own space to retreat to and Jorge’s place could not have been more perfect. The space is clean and easy to get to. Communication with Jorge was a breeze (recommend through text, VRBO app was not my friend). The view of the ocean was plenty for us. The bed is THE most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! Kitchen is well stocked with all appliances and utensils you will need. AC worked perfect through the very hot and humid days we were there. This was our first time in Palmas Del Mar—what a great community! I was able to do my morning walks, 4-6 miles all within the village, and could have gone much further. Everything you need is in the village if you prefer not to leave—market, bars, and delicious restaurants. We rented a car to go explore but you could easily just rent a golf cart to get around Palmas Del Mar. Highly recommend hiking the “mountain” trails (within walking distance) and checking out Secret Beach (and several other hidden gems along the way!) The El Yunque rainforest is just a short drive and very worth it. Easy trip to Old San Juan for shopping and Fajardo for a once in a lifetime catamaran cruise. We would absolutely recommend this space and Jorge’s gracious hospitality! Thank you and hope to be back soon!

Mixed review

The view and village was beautiful. Access through the gate initially was difficult as the key pad was not operating properly. Luckily, Jorge was available to show us a different way to get into the village. The property lists sleeps six but this is not a comfortable sleep and one of the sliding door shades was missing, which allowed the east sunrise and heat into the living/sleeping room. Additionally, the only big burner on the stove and oven knob(s) did not work. Other disappointments were that the pool was closed for repairs, unbeknownst to the owner and the beach was out of the question due to it being "seaweed season." We made the best of it but daughter had to get a place of her own in Palmas Dorados for a few days for privacy and better sleeping. Again the view and village are amazing and we enjoyed all that Palmas and Puerto Rico has to offer. Jorge was open to knowing the property's maintenance issues and kindly refunded an amount for our inconveniences. 2-3 out of 5 stars

Great stay very safe

I had a great stay. The host, Jorge was very helpful and responded promptly if needed. The area is beautiful and there is a lot to do nearby. Everything you need is on the premises and it was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again and recommend.

Cute Villa

The positives: awesome, cute villa. Very clean, no smells, updated bathroom and bedroom, spacious. Location is fantastic. The so-so's: check-in was rocky (probably a one time thing due to entry issues). It took too long for owner to communicate with use while we were having issues. The futon listed is really a one person futon ( or for a young, very in love couple :) ) And finally, too many cleaning steps that you are required to do before leaving (washing dishes, throwing trash out, putting towels in washer) The positives outweigh the negatives and I would definitively recommend it. It's an enjoyable space in a great location.

Nice place

Beautiful! The apartment, neighborhood and the view is the best! Quiet and safe. They have air conditioning but it was so breezy that I really didn't need it at all. If anything, I used only the ceiling fan. The workers were very kind and helpful too.

Like a second home

The condo was exactly as advertised. Jorge and Sylvia were unbelievable in their helpfulness. Location was great with super views from the patio. Would highly recommend this rental unit
