「This is a no-frills kind of place. The stairway to the apartment is narrow and curved. There is a strong smoke smell in the building corridor which seeps into the living room of the apartment a little bit, but fortunately doesn't reach the bedrooms. The walls are thin, and I could hear bits of conversation and walking around from the upstairs unit. Some things seem not to have been designed with actual comfort in mind - for example, there are flashy LED lights in the ceiling, but no bedside lamp...

「The host did not know we had booked the rental, he was over 2 hours late to check in which affected our plans. When he finally came with the linens for the place, he only provided 1 pillow (for 2 adults) and 2 small throw blankets not big enough for an adult when it was below 40 degrees at night. 」
