Each morning, we had our coffee sitting on the porch admiring the beautiful mountains and river view. The location was perfect for our outings. We hiked trails, explored Front Royal, saw the Caverns and tubed down the Shenandoah River which was so relaxing! If we're back in the area I would definitely stay here again.”

We were trying to enjoy the hot tub outside and had to cut it short because a carpenter bee was digging itself a home inside the……

“This is a well-kept, clean and quite getaway location. It was perfect for a couple's quick escape from the daily grind. It was perfect for the two of us and presented a very welcoming and comfortable living environment. It has a great balance that makes you feel comfortable using the amenities and simply feeling at home. Relaxing and watching a sunrise/sunset from the hot tub is simply icing on the cake. “My wife and I, along with another couple, loved our stay at Poe's Mountain. The place was very clean, check-in/check out were super easy, and Brian was very responsive. He also provided us with some great info on places to eat (Shawn's BBQ in Culpepper was delicious). We enjoyed sitting on the deck both morning and evening listening and watching the birds. We were even awakened one morning by a male wild turkey gobbling away outside our bedroom window with his female entourage following him. So……

“Our stay was very relaxed, the property is in a nice location, nestled in the woods, with a nice amount of lawn in the front. We enjoyed the wildlife, and explored Luray caverns and some of the Shenandoah mountains. The cabin is very simple, but sufficient, and has essentials, although a cabinet somewhere would have been convenient. Thank you for making our great week possible, it was a blessing!”

“This cabin was very comfortable and clean! The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs. The views from the inside are just as spectacular on the outside. While the house is not directly on the reiver that was okay. We figured it would be hard to find a house right on the river with amazing views of the mountains off in the distance. The walk down to the river is not bad. It takes about 7 or so minutes. I highly recommend boots or something other than standard shoes if you go before the dew……

“House was great for my bachelor weekend. My group of nine 27+ adult men, had a no problem sharing the many beds, and were more than comfortable. Only 2 showers was the biggest short coming of the property. The kitchen was more than adequate for the many meals we cooked at the cabin, and the large dinning room table could accommodate our group of nine for meals and board games. The cabin was a short drive from Marys Rock Summit Trailhead in Shenandoah National Park, a nice hike to mix things up……
