The Best Part: The lady at the front desk was incredibly kind and accommodating. It truly set the right mood for our trip. ​The Room: Having both a fridge and a microwave in the room was super useful. ​Minor Notes: The ice machine was out of order, and someone was obviously smoking on the 3rd floor (not the hotel's fault, just guest behavior).

This hotel is needing some tlc. Water stains on ceiling including the bathroom. Bathroom caulking needs replacing. Location was convenient and parking was ample. When we asked the staff to fix the door handle they came promptly and fixed it. It served our purpose for the night.

We were thankful to find a place that allowed pets at the last minute. Everything was booked in the area. The room was very run down. Tiles missing in the bathroom, toilet leaking badly (had to use the bath mat and towels to absorb the water). Shower had a constant drip that couldn’t be turned off. Chunks of paint scrapped off the bathroom door. Strangely no bed side lamps. So room was very dark. Fridge had food that had been left behind by someone before us.. I didn’t open to check it out. There was no parking. We had to park on the grass, no coffee maker in room. The room was over $328 + pet fee. Pretty pricey for what it was. We were stuck as there were no other pet option.. would not book here again. I will say the front desk girl was lovely. Very friendly. The location is good - easy access to downtown and highway. The place definitely needs an overhaul.

The room was a good size, and was fine. However, the hallway smelt very strongly of smoke the entirety of our 3 night stay. We reported this to the front desk, but there was no improvement in the smell. I believe someone was smoking in their room, but nothing was done about it. The staff were helpful enough, and the people cleaning the room was nice. However, one time we were having our kids take a nap and put the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door, but they knocked loudly and kept saying 'Housekeeping' loudly. So, they didn't respect the sign. The room was clean enough, but the building itself was not. For all these reasons, I gave my ranking as 'Okay' overall.

The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. Staff asked how often we wanted the room serviced - this was great to offer (we selected no service), reflects awareness of environmental impact of doing unnecessary cleaning and laundry. Access to the building: there's a poorly designed collection of steps and a ramp leading to the entrance doors, but not a single railing to aid in climbing the steps. Unmarked/unpainted concrete made it difficult to see the edge of the top step, anyone with poor vision (or distracted by kids) could miss that top step and take a tumble. No working ice machine!
