"The layout of the property over 2 shared floors negated the benefits of the “large terrace with stunning sea views”. As there were only 2 of us, we were able to locate on the upper floor, losing the advantages of the main bedroom. We recognise that a few of our issues might have been addressed if we had contacted the agents. However we were so dispirited by the general offering that we could not be bothered, rather we dug in for the long haul and just got on with it. We also understand the adage...

"Wir waren schon das zweite Mal dort und haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Empfang durch das freundliche Vermieterehepaar ist sehr herzlich und man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Alles war vorbereitet und sehr sauber. Sekt und Obst zur Begrüßung und wir bekamen extra Avocados aus ihrem Garten und die kanarischen Kartoffeln mit Mojo die sie für uns gekocht haben waren ein Traum. "Die Lage und der Blick aufs Meer sind das große Plus. Das Haus und Teile der Einrichtung/Ausstattung sind in keinem guten Zustand. Was nervt: Drei Geschirr-Tabs für 4 Personen und 10 Tage, keine Waschmaschinen-Tabs, keine Küchenrolle etc. Das ist bei dem Mietpreis völlig indiskutabel und kleinlich. "

"Das einzig schöne waren die Bilder im Internet. Sie sind sicher sehr veraltet und entsprachen in keiner Weise dem völlig heruntergekommenen Zustand des Hauses. Das schlimmst war die extreme Feuchtigkeit im Haus, die zu Schimmelbildung in den Räumen führte. Selbst die beiden Lufttrockner, die wir zweimal pro Tag geleert haben, haben da nicht wirklich geholfen. "The stay at Vista Marina was really lovely. The property covered all the basic requirements for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect which I knew as I’d stayed in an apartment in the same complex previously but it wasn’t front row like this. There are a few tired elements of the property but nothing major and is return to the property. I’ve stayed in EL Medano many times and this is my preferred spot, close enough to town but nice and quiet when you want to relax. Hosts were responsive...
