This property is not well kept. They have a spider and mice problem. It is extremely close to the main road so it is extremely noisy all night long. Would most likely not stay here again and I will not recommend it to anyone.

This letter is in reference to our stay at the Idyllwild Bunkhouse in the Woodland Vista cabin on May 21st-23rd 2025. We booked this cabin on Expedia after reading tons of reviews, watching videos and reviewing all online outlets for the property. From the pictures that were presented, we were excited to enjoy our 15th Wedding Anniversary away in Idyllwild. We were greeted by Deb who was super friendly and welcoming. She checked us in and gave us our key. Looking from the outside, everything looked great. We enjoyed spending time on the private deck and enjoying nature. As time went on, we began to notice and document: -The first night, we didn’t know about the heat and froze to death. The next day we asked Deb and she told us how to turn it on in the bathroom. Once we did, the unit was extremely loud and the tops and inside were very dirty. -Towel hook in bathroom fell down when a towel was placed on it. -Unable to sit on couch as it had stains, was dirty and not being comfortable and being very loud. We had to sit at the dining table the entire stay which was very uncomfortable and not relaxing at all. -Bed was extremely uncomfortable and may possibly be broken on half the bed. -Tons of cobwebs everywhere and extremely dusty -Big black heater in main room doesn’t work and it completely full of dust -Kitchen had oil stains running down the wall -Duvet cover, sheets, chair in bedroom all had white stains

It wa an adequate place to stay. Liked it had portable air conditioning and the bed was comfortable. Did get any kind of breakfast or offer and never saw anyone in the office but check in was easy as we were told where the key would be. Close to town and the price was good
