「We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful 16th-century cottage. The property is full of character and charm, with many original features that really add to the atmosphere, yet it’s been thoughtfully updated to ensure modern comfort.The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival, and the beds were extremely comfortable — we slept very well. 「Everything was fantastic except for the fact that the previous people/cleaning person?!?!? Had left the freezer door slightly ajar so the freezer was one large ice cube which we had to defost to get our groceries in. 」

「Fabulous property with everything you’d possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location of the property was also great as it felt quite secluded but was actually only a 10 minute walk into Bourton centre (a decent torch is recommended though if you’re walking back at night as the lane is not lit). The property owner was lovely to deal with and left us a welcome pack which was very thoughtful.」

「The cottage has been renovated nicely, and was well stocked, we arrived to fresh eggs, pastries, milk in the fridge, a bottle of Merlot, and firewood for the fireplace. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. The bed was comfy and the location was great. The picturesque small village is not crowded with tourists, only a few, which is to be expected. 」

「stayed overnight as our starting point in exploring Cotswolds; excellent location, near the train station and high street. It was just not appearing in google maps, and the address was a bit confusing but directions provided by the host was helpful. I also liked the history of the building. 」

「A lovely well presented and equipped cottage, ideally located for day trips into Stratford upon Avon and Warwick. Teabags, coffee, milk, bread and butter were waiting for us when we got there. We loved the peace and quiet of the location and would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to anyone looking for a break in this location.」

「Lovely property just a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water, though beware there is a very steep hill to climb when walking back. Very spacious. Lounge and open plan kitchen could do with a bit of an update. Fabulous views across the country side and so many different species of birds to view from the very large window in the lounge. Owners very kindly left binoculars and a bird book. Extremely quiet setting. Stayed Friday to Monday and it was a really lovely break. 」
