“The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores. “This place is truly amazing! We were greeted by one of the owners who went over the specifics. He pointed out an eagle sitting in a nearby tree just waiting for her dinner to swim by in the river bordering the yurt. So comfy, quiet and secluded. I would definitely stay here again.”

“We had a wonderful time at cranberry cottage. Our stay was in January but we were still able to take advantage of the local beaches. There are lots of hiking trails nearby that we were able to go snow shoeing on. The fireplace at the cottage was a nice surprise as we had some very cold nights. The host was responsive and I would definitely love to visit when the weather is a bit better but if you’re looking for a winter getaway this is definitely a place to consider. ”
