“We were warmly welcomed by Marilena & Francesco. A flower-filled B&B in a typical little street. A charming vaulted room. Very clean. Small balcony overlooking the rooftops of the old town. The breakfast is exquisite, served at the "table d'hôte". Sweet and savory. Fresh juice. Homemade pastries. Good restaurants in the immediate vicinity in the old town. Santo Stefano B&B is a beautiful place, very welcoming. We arrived late in the evening from Bari airport and Francesco waited for us as……

“Staying here was like a dream! So so beautiful and peaceful. The rooms are carefully designed with details in every corner. The breakfast also amazing. Angelica, the owner, was great also with recommendations and super flexible with the check in time. No wifi! Which can be inconvenient if you are using international data but good to unplug!”

“This apartment is a great base to explore polignano a mare. It is clean and well located. However, the staff do not speak any English and there is much to be desired in terms of organisation. We had to wait 2 hours to have access to our room from check in time. We had to adjust our plans to facilitate this and had to wait nearby with all of our luggage. We also had to wait 45 minutes for someone to come and unlock the parking lot where we paid 20€ through the b&b to park our car the morning……

“The property is very unique and the staff helpful. However, no one asked us to register, people were very relaxed about paperwork and didn't seem aware of our stay as we hqd to confirm it many yltimes. Staff helped ua load our vehicles and took our keys but nevwe asked to settle the bill. About an hoir later while we were well on our way, they called to ask us to pay. We gqve them our visa number and info but the demanded a cheque, money transfer or cash. Terrible. My nephew who had hia wedding……
