"This is a perfect place to go for a getaway. The pool is immaculately maintained, and you are steps away from the beach. We watched fishermen hauling in their catch each morning, drank coconut water from freshly-picked coconuts, and had amazing meals prepared by Pushpa each day. Rex took us on interesting and noteworthy day trips around Wadduwa and shared his insights on all things Sri Lanka. This is truly a place to relax and unwind, listen to the ocean, and forget your troubles."

"This property is a scam. I booked the reservation through Expedia and then Expedia/Vrbo. I didn't get the checkin instructions from the host. I called the host and no response. I called another phone number shared through VRBO and upon calling the person answered told me that the location is under construction. The Owner cannot be contacted. I went to the location and no one was there. So this is a big scam"

"We are a family of six who had a truly wonderful stay at Villa Ad Astra. Everything was perfectly organised from the moment we arrived, including a delicious welcome lunch. The villa has a menu with meals that can be prepared for you, or you can choose to shop locally. Nilanga, the Villa Manager, was fantastic—he arranged fresh seafood and groceries, organised transport, and even accompanied us on trips to help with translation. His calm, helpful nature made everything easy.The villa itself is beautiful, and the pool was a highlight—we swam every day!The staff were exceptional. Depika, the chef, prepared amazing meals. Sumana, the caretaker, and Nirosha, the helper, were always smiling, friendly, and attentive. Their warm presence made us feel right at home.Tanushka, the gardener, even climbed the coconut trees to bring us fresh coconuts!We also want to thank the owners, Jan and Agneta, who were incredibly responsive and helpful in the lead-up to our trip.It was a relaxing, memorable holiday, and we can’t wait to return! "I am so glad we booked Reef to finish off our Sri Lankan holiday - it was absolutely perfect from the huge, luxurious suites to the exceptional service and food. Dino and team could not do enough for us, but it was never over the top - we just felt well hosted by the entire team. Worth every penny to stay in such a secluded space on a beautiful coastline - we saw more cows on the unspoilt beach than people and you get a beautiful western sunset from Reef."
