「Loved our stay in South Bay! The house was perfect for our family of 5. Nice and quiet, and a stunning view from upstairs. Great view of the bay from up the hill behind the house. Plenty of heating to keep us warm in a cold Kaikoura southerly, and there were even some hottie bottles to warm up our beds. Good kitchen with everything we needed, and very good washing machine and dryer. Only 5mins drive or a 30min walk to the town centre. 5 min walk to the south end of the Kaikoura peninsula...

「The cosy cottage at Kaikoura is a great place to stay. The location is near many great walks, the sea and the boat excursions. It’s in a quiet location and there is no light pollution , so the stars at night are amazing. Seeing the sunrise and moonrise at the Kaikoura lookout is a must. The location is not far from town, seal colony , esplanade and town eateries. The location has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s clean and very comfortable. 「We brought our 2 teenagers (13 & 17) to Sandy Heights and had such a lively time. No wifi was a big draw card and the kids were engaged with us and explored and played games rather than staring at screens. The cabin was cosy and warm and had everything we needed. South Island Robins and Tomtits visiting each day was such a gift. :)Thank you again xx」
