“Room was very comfortable, staff are friendly, foods is excellent. But, it needs improvement in car park facilities, an additional staff for parking may be better at peak season.”

“Although we didn't get to meet our hostess, the owner/host and his staff were fantastic. The pub was cosy and clean and extremely reasonably priced and the service was amazing. Very pleasant and friendly people who genuinely cared about making our stay pleasurable. Absolutely recommend and should we find ourselves down that way again, we will most certainly stay here. “We had an amazing room, The Penthouse, with beautiful views of the coast. Had a very warm welcome. We did repeatedly say the trip was to celebrate our Ruby wedding Anniversary but this was not acknowledged! The interior decor and setting is beautiful. We had dinner and room service, food was nice but menu was the similar and a bit limited but other days we found so many nice places to eat. The breakfast was nice, especially eating on the terrace but was let down by having to make your own hot……

“We booked very last minute, due to an unforeseen problem with our holiday cottage. When we arrived it was literally 5 mis before they stopped serving food BUT the chap said I'll go and ask the chef .,. He did and we enjoyed a very hearty excellent steak and ale pie each. Absolutely delicious, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast cooked to order and v attentive staff throughout.”

“This property is need of a lot of repair. Leaks through the ceiling, peeling paint, the water tank is a real issue - you may run out of drinking water! Marks and holes in walls through the property. It is not a virtual check in you have to go collect the keys. We lost two hours trying to get hold of virtual check in. Microwave sounds like it’s going to explode and dishwasher doesn’t work. Really terrible stay. The only plus is there’s a lovely view”

“The Inn was comfortable and there's a car park nearby. There's a pub at the ground floor and another one opposite the inn. A supermarket is about 100-200 feet away so it's quite convenient. You can reach southern Devon's costal attraction within an hour's (by car). A natural reserve is also very close.”

“This hotel is wonderful. Rooms are beautifully decorated with everything you could need. Comfortable bed and plenty of space. We had an evening meal which was probably the best meal ever!! Breakfast was equally good. Abby who served us was a gem. Nothing but praise. Would recommend and stay again. ”
