Wonderful hosts.Nothing too much trouble.Every possible amenity. Very clean. Lovely self contained facilities. Wonderful large bed. Super breakfast. Highly recommend this b&b.

Fantastically welcoming accommodation

My wife and I have just enjoyed an overnight stay. Kath and John are just the best hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Their facilities are absolutely spotless and very comfortable indeed and the breakfast was 1st class. We really enjoyed our stay and will look forward to the next visit. 10/10, thanks.

Spot on spot

Too good for "4 in a bed". Kath & John were welcoming & friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. They were very patient with our questions. Breakfast set us up for the day. Clean, quiet & comfortable "en suite". 10 - 15 mins easy walk from central Inverness. Would renew our acquaintance if ever we're on Inverness again.

eyond excellent.

A superb b&b run by an extremely efficient and helpful lady. The accommodation is spotless and everything has been thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible. She also went above and beyond in assisting us with a personal matter - nothing seems to be too much trouble. If we are ever in the area again this will be the first place we will try to book.

Kath and John are kind and hospitable. They were very scrupulous about hygiene considering that Covid-19 restrictions were recently eased. Their place is close to walks along the canal and forest walks, and there are good restaurants and pubs within 10 minutes walking distance. We enjoyed stay at their place and highly recommend it.

Kath and John hosted us with warmth and care. We were very comfortable, rested well and were fed a fantastic home cooked breakfast. Their clean and tidy accommodation was a welcome stop on our journey through Scotland. Thank you Kath and John!

Kath greeted us upon arrival as we were driving up and was very welcoming. The room was wonderfully stocked with every amenity we needed, quiet and private! She was knowledgeable about the area and provided us information regarding our activities during our stay. The B&B is also conveniently located within walking distance to the town area.

Nice room, very clean, nice owners and lovely breakfast. Not far from the center of town just 10n mint walk. And nice recommendation for our dinner, nice food and live music.

5 stars are not enough

It was wonderful! Kath and John are extremely friendly! The room was very nice and breakfast was tasty. I highly recommend staying here.

The B&B was very well kept and Kath provided everything we could want or need. Room and bathroom were nicely sized. Only complaint was the bed was a bit hard and made it difficult to sleep. I am very sad we did not get to try breakfast either because we had such an early flight.

The best elements of a hotel and homestay combined

The standards of cleanliness, comfort and customer care at Ailigean surpassed many five star hotels. We were thoroughly impressed by the welcome and friendliness of our hosts, who cooked a delicious breakfast and shared local knowledge to book us in at a good restaurant when everywhere was booked up in central Inverness. Added to this the room was one of the cleanest I have ever seen, everywhere smelt so fresh, and the room had extra amenities for coffee and tea making - beyond what you would usually expect in a bed and breakfast. And the bed was extremely comfortable too. We were really impressed - this place really deserves its 10/10 ratings!
