“Beautiful and pleasant environment, friendly staff, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, but the bathroom has a strong smell of ammonia, which is very disappointing, everything else is good”

“It’s a Super8 so…..but they could clean the lobby glass table over the four geese decoy table base once in a while. TV remote didn’t work.”

“The exterior of the motel looks old and it is on the outside only! An old Wisconsin motel. My room had a new bathroom with walk- shower, toilet and sink. Everything had been painted on the inside. There was a fridge with a small freezer included, as well as WiFi. The mattress was most comfortable and clean as I always check. The price was $65 each night including tax in August. I was here for 6 nights to see the 8 plays at American Players Theatre. The motel is about 25 minutes from there. It……

“If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in very clean accommodations, this is a great place for you. If you want to relax, it's nice a quiet with a view of the river or if you want to be more active, it's one hour from Madison and 15 minutes for walking trails and kayaks. You can walk 5 minutes to grab something easy to eat or run to the gas station for small stuff. The cabin felt like it was brand new, and we would definitely recommend this place to others.”

But the room smelled quite musky and the AC was changed (turned warmer) while we were out of the room as well as the garbage being cleaned out without us approving for serviceOverall the stay was fine, bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. Loved the mid century modern look. ”

“I like led that it was an eco hotel with nice sheets and comforter with nice view from the window. Helpful to have fridge in the room and it was kind to have ice waiting for us when we checked in. Not sure why ceiling looks like plywood and there is often not a person at the front desk, but those were minor issues. Conveniently located.”

“The cabin was beautiful and very comfortable to stay in. Had many items in cabin to accommodate for our stay. So peaceful n quiet. Will definitely be back. Bonus being so close to Yellowstone lake and park.”

“Very pleased with my stay. Room was clean and nice. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The parking garage entrance is difficult to navigate with a truck. The pool was out of commission. Not enough of an issue to reduce my rating.”
